Why are passive aggressive people not banned?

I often find myself finding passive aggressive people, who just annoy me. I just honestly mute them and move on but its kinda starting to get annoying because i see them almost every single day. I know its easy to deal with them and they just are joking but after a while after its happened at least 5 times in a day its kinda getting to a point where its too hard to deal with it. I play league in my free time and its the only game i play right now, so cant just take a break from tilt. Can someone help me out on how to deal with this? :(

Remember, this is an online game and not a middle school chat room. Aggression is still welcomed, just not flat out toxicity.

It may be just you and not the person you're playing with if it's really happening that much.

Do what I do bruh. Mute and dont comment back, Dont even say you going to report them, But report them after the match quitely then let Riot take it from there. But you can always say nice things in game even if they start being toxic. That is how you can only win in game. I know its unpleasant but in the end, while people here are complaining they got ban you will feel so smart that you would be so happy that you never stoop down to their idiotic behavior.

Just laugh it off. Sometimes it's helpful and gives you that extra push to do better, sometimes it's just empty words.

Banter is a part of playing the game. Unfortunately, some people get "too passionate" about the game, and that's when the line gets crossed.

uhm I don't think you noticed, but there is actualy a little speach button next to every champion but your own, clicking it will make sure you never have to see the person's passive-aggressive bullcrap anymore. Also if you realy REALY can't deal with this, just type /mute all at the start of every game and you will enjoy the game like you didn't before.

Because 1) you and riot don't even know what the fuck "passive aggressive" means 2) in the original report card it wasn't even noted, it was added later since dunkey gave a severe case of humiliation and butthurt to riot lyte™ so in order to stand his ground *histeric laughters he added it out of nowhere. League of legends is not your safe space, and people who tell you to build a sightstone when you're support or type in chat "gj" when you did something blatantly dumb are not to be reported.
