I've been thinking about using Razer Cortex to up my fps a bit since I average around 30, dipping into 15 during teamfights. I've read a few things and I'm a bit worried that this could net me a perma ban for using 3rd party programs. Can someone confirm, preferably a rioter.
From what I've read, Razer Cortex just messes with non-game processes to stop/slow processes that aren't needed while you're in game.
Personally, I'd have to say I'm leery that it'd help at all. But I don't think this would result in a ban, as it's just doing what you could do manually through task manager. However, the disclaimer applies I'm not Riot staff and so use at your own risk.
I wouldn't bother with it if I were you, instead just look at your startup/running programs and see what you can disable/get rid of.
