10 man bans and being forced out of my lane

Am I the only person experiencing issues with the new 10 man system and other players forcibly kicking you from lane by banning your champ before you can lock in? This never happened before with 6 man bans. I had an ADC and Support that were running together and the ADC got auto filled jungle and asked to switch told him that I did not want to and he said and I quote "Okay you f***ing scrub" then he banned my champ. I'm a one trick I don't play anything else so being forced to hurts not just myself but my teammates. Once the match started he came into my lane stole my cs, stole my kills so that was the end of that I left game and took my low priority queue times. It just infuriates me that riot didn't think of this as a possible outcome, you should not be able to click ban on a champ that is declared by one of your teammates already.

yes you should be able to if you just DON'T want to play against them and the teammate is last pick, but it does grey it out and warn you just in case. the problem I have is nobody calls when I'm first pick but they already know who they want to play so I won't change their minds and just have to kind of guess at what they want when nobody talks to me.

in your situation? learn to play a few other champions at least decently so you can't be banned out. I main lulu for example but can play a smattering of other supports just in case they bring like a jhin in.

Most of the time, banning a champion is ok. But with that bit of text, you should report that player with a note about what he said/did. There's no other guard to this problem though, you've gotta learn to play other champs.

Don't show your pick until after ban phase.

Don't be a one trick in ranked.

Those will solve the problem 99% of the time.

The rest of the time, you are going to be face to face with an asshole. The question is, how are you going to act?

As a bit of encouragement, it is possible to turn people around. I remember a game where I was very mean to my team mates. One person was nice to me regardless. That one person ended up changing my emotions simply by being nice while I was being mean. I think they guilt tripped me with niceness.

simple solution; don't be a one trick. one tricking is cancerous and does nothing but hurt the game because scrubs see their favorite kool edgy streamer do it so they assume that they can as well, only to be counterpicked and assraped into oblivion. yes, it does suck getting forced out of your lane, but the only thing you can do is either dodge, or play the game and report them. also I've banned teammates picks plenty of times lmao. jungleYasuo, supportYasuo, adcYasuo. come to think of it, almost every time I do this it happens to be a yasuo. huh.
