My next Ban is Perm, Can I go down a tier?

So my next ban is a Perm Ban (as I've heard) because I just got a 2 week ban. and as I've noticed, it's really easily to get a ban on league of legends. so How do I go down a ban tier so that my next ban isn't a perm? I've wasted money on this game, Don't wanna be permed this quick ;/

Edit: I know I know, "be a nicer person"; but what if I mess up and yell at a feeder. How much do I have to wait to be safe I'm not getting Permed?

To my knowledge, you will drop down one punishment tier after going approximately 3 months without being punished. So if you go 3 months without being punished, then your next punishment will be another 14 day ban instead of a permanent ban.

Bro - go buy yourself a Razer Tartarus or one of those Logitech programmable keypads. Unplug your keyboard when you play League. Problem solved.

Some advice:

  • Say it, don't type it. Riot doesn't care what you say out loud, only what you type in game
  • Focus on yourself instead of your teammates. Yeah, they went 0/23/2, but you could have CSed better, warded better, watched the map better, pinged better, itemized better, focused objectives better, etc. Maybe you got lulled into a false sense of security because a useless teammate was near you, when you should have acted like you were alone. Focusing on your improvement instead of others mistakes helps you be better and not type as much.
  • Don't work yourself up about games before hand/during. It really doesn't matter all that much that your ally is 0/23/2, it's just one out of hundreds of matches, you'll live right through it. Would have been nice to win, but doesn't matter all that much if you lose so long as you were doing your part.

just dont use chat at all ... just stop using it... mute everyone at start of game, disable all chat... dont use it... then you cant see what is said and cant react to it

I have thrown many water bottles, cups, plates, slammed my mouse, etc. countless times because of bad teammates, but the amount of bans/chat restrictions I have gotten is less than 0. Literally just play the game with a good attitude and you should be able to get your account into good standing.

if you really cant trust yourself, try disabling manual chat and macroing a couple positive phrases to keys. for example:

bind enter to hit enter twice instead of once

bind a key to say "not talkative much this game" (so people will know you'll only be saying stuff like gj)

bind a key to "gj"

bind a key to "omw"

and so on. I almost did this when I was having trouble keeping a cool head back in 2014 (when they would just pile on chat restrictions up to the thousands)

If you play well and don't get more than the occasional report for a loooooooong time you will slowly drop down tiers.

I know what you mean! I've been charged with disturbing the peace twice in the past year, and I've been trying to reform, but today the lady in front of me in line at Starbucks was taking too long and I messed up and told her to kill herself.

Wait, no, that didn't happen.

It's actually pretty hard to get banned in League. Just don't be a dick! Sometimes people on your team will suck or troll, but you'll just need to move on.
