AFK's and inting in ranked.

Just curious here, why is it ok to have someone afk/rq or int (not just a bad player of having a bad game, legit admits to inting), not have them punished (feedback report never appears) and still lose lp like nothing happened that game? I understand it must be too difficult to keep track of all reports and look into every single one but even with proof nothing is done about it. It's happened a few times, not necessarily recently. If you want to bring up communication, how about this - suggesting your jg not to invade when he is level 1 against a level 3 enemy jungler and he does it anyways and says "oops" in chat? I'll accept my losses but this is not a fair way to be punished and get lp taken away. I know this happens to a lot of people, which is why i don't understand why there isn't something implemented in the game to prevent this sort of stuff from happening more frequently. Im really glad there is a remake option for when someone dc's unintentionally or intentionally to dodge a game but there is really no way to help prevent the other scenarios from happening and going unpunished for the most part?

Its sad because their punishment system works this way ''You say one of our listed words and you will get banned'' when it comes to ''toxicity''. So when someone that is inting ADMITS IT in either the champion select or in game why does he get away ??? They say ''fuck you I'm inting because you didn't swap roles with me'' and running it down mid. And they dont get punished? Why do they think its better to be forced to play with someone inting/feeding for 20-40 min (depending if the enemy teams wants to end the game or not and if your team defends it) rather than someone flaming you. You can mute the flame but you can't do anything against the inter/troll (and it won't do anything since they will get out unpunished). O yeah and you can get banned for asking the people to report him for inting/trolling. There was a guy that was running it down min 30-40 games in a row (without typing any word in chat) without getting punished. He doing that on stream trying to prove his point at how shitty this system is. And I completely agree with him now.

Riot's logic : Better focus on banning players that are ''toxic'' rather than inters and trolls because loosing 20-40 min of your time is better than loosing 3 seconds to press the mute button.

must be a dozen of these threads a day...

I mean, it isn't often that I find myself matched with or against quitters, trolls, and inters. Most games, players try until the bitter end for better or worse...at least in NA. Because Americans are raised on the philosophy that with hard work and dedication, you can accomplish anything and that you should never give up and never surrender (I don't believe it, personally, but I'm a cynic).

But instances of trolls, feeders, and inters happen often enough that something needs done about it.

Would be really neat if they implemented a retroactive LP loss prevention for AFK/Inters.

Like if the report is confirmed inting or AFK player for so much amount of time, they just refund you the LP lost once confirmed.

I don't approve of afkers, but i've been known to do it lately .

honestly i just get tired of being held captive in a super toxic game. Think i've afked twice or thrice this season cause of trolls joining my game, and then trolling.

i by no means encourage afking or leaving but it gets to a point where you just gotta remove yourself from the situation because it gets so bad

Example. - I had a game with a teemo who ran around stealing my buffs with smite.. and he even admitted in chat he was gong to troll cause he was just being a jerk.

he was sexist spamming,m raging stealing jungle farm and was hateful.

at one point after he stole my blue and then red and continued to spam his emoticon multiple times i just gave up

I've sent in a few reports to riot support, all of them have gotten a response of them being banned. They can tell the difference between a bad player and someone not trying to win.

2 weeks to catch a feeder? you act like people don't just suddenly stop playing league lmfao. or that they dont have hundreds of accounts to troll you on.

  1. Because the feedback is only sent to one person.
  2. Because you still win Lps when this guy is in the other team. It actually helps you climb in the long run.
  3. You can't ban people for being bad or stupid, you'd have to ban 99% of the player base. Even in diamond you see so many mistakes and it's the top 1%.

IKR?! IM SO DONE WITH AFKS and trolls!!! >.<

MistsOfMystery6/3/2019, 4:01:55 PM1 votes

Yeah... I agree this is a pressing issue. We need to do something about the consistent AFKs in the middle of a game because it makes you lose LP and makes the game less fun.

Most of the cases you mentioned are manual reviews.

Firstly manual reviews are backlogged, so it might take 2 weeks before the review happens.

Secondly, punishment notifications are never given out when a player is manually reviewed.

Afks in ranked still results in LP loss because Duo que and bullying. If a game looks bad a player can hav their duo buddy leave the match so they won't lose LP. Similarly, if the game is going badly a team can decide to flame and berate one player until they decide to leave or convince them that doing so, for the good of the team, is the right thing to do.

Transfer some of teams ip loss to the leaver. -5lp loss for team +10 for leaver if a team that lost. Then let the leaver gain LP if they return and win (currently it’s an auto loss for the leaver discouraging reloading)

Because punishment system in lol is utter garbage. It is automated chat bot that bans people without context and doesn't punish people for leaving/inting unless they do it every day 15 times in a row. I can understand it is hard to detect "smart" ints, but leavers you can punish easily. But nope, better ban those flamers you can just mute.
