I would like riot to please explain to me why you ban tyler despite his improvemet in behavior but im still playing with a bunch of people who are inting and being toxic af?

Tyler1 is the same way. If he had claimed he was reformed after getting 1, or even 2 accounts banned, sure, I might have believed him. But to repetitively get more accounts banned, up into the double digits, AND to do it while streaming is just uncalled for and shows everyone how he truly is. He may claim reform now (or at least his rabid fan boys do), but everyone thinks it's nothing but a steaming pile of shit. He's cried wolf too many times, that there's no one left to believe him.

Because Tyler1 did it nonstop for a long time. He's now a streamer and has a large viewer base. He set the wrong example and now Riot is making an example out of him to show everyone else that they will not allow toxic behavior. If they allowed him to continue, then they would basically be saying that it's okay to be toxic.

I get that, its all for the business of the game but you're really gonna tell me they set an example by punishing one guy? You know how many inters and toxic people are on everyday right? roaming free unpunished... thats my issue. i know they cant get everyone but ive seen even streamers, lcs, who have somewhat toxic behavior but nothing happens to them. maybe lcs gives you a ban shield, idk.

Pros aren't exempt from punishments either. Case in point IWDominate, Incarnation (now known as Jensen) and Forg1ven have all received bans for poor behavior. Yes they can play professionally today but that's only because they proved that they had reformed, and their permabanned accounts stay banned to this day.

It's like you said, Riot can't get everyone so some may slip through the cracks every now and then (just like in real life), and in terms of inting and gameplay trolling there has to be enough evidence to show that the person in question is doing it on purpose and not just having a bad game or two*. Bottom line, if someone consistently acts up and is reported for it then eventually they'll receive a punishment.

*Gameplay related offenses when proven to be on purpose are assigned a 14-day ban as the first punishment. In case you don't believe me on this point here are two examples of gameplay trolls being banned. Yes it's just two examples, but it proves that they do get punished.

Yes, sadly its because of his popularity that is the reason for being so harsh. If he was just an average joe like everyone else who plays this game he probably still would be toxic/inting in his games on his 20-30+ banned accounts. Riot needs to put their foot down somewhere and he is the best example of what they dont want in their game.

Also if you seen how toxic he was in his uninstalling league of legends video its pretty damn clear he hasnt changed. If he truly was reformed he would realize what got him there in the first place and know why his got this type of punishment. But nope. He is still as childish as he ever was and you type of people arent helping!

What type of people are you trying to generalize? I'm not gonna come here and spam freetyler1 stuff cause I do understand that having 20+ accounts banned is overdoing it. I'm simply asking cause I've seen and encountered it everyday and it seems their "example" doesn't really do much to make the community better haha. Also, what exactly is considered toxic? Honest question cause idk if it means talking trash or something like that?

Im generalize Tyler1, this fans, and basically every single person who breaks the rules. The sad fact is someone like Tyler1 isnt needed in this game, and his fanboys dont help when basically every single day we get post like this, yes you might not be doing it on purpose, but when you see post after post saying that this person needs to be unban because you like this person just gets annoying. When you dont bring in the fact that they have changed despite there being constant evidence stating otherwise its just not worth it to take seriously.

You clearly do not understand how popular this game is. Not only the fact millions play this in the US alone, but there are other regions and they possibly have millions playing as well. It would be physically impossible to get rid of every single toxic/troll person in this game, just as it would be impossible to get rid of all the bad type of people in this world.

With that said Riot can try to at least maintain it so that it doesnt get out of hand. The sad truth is Tyler1 tainted this community, and riot is trying what ever they can to try and bring it back. When you have trolls, people who ruin your games, making it difficult for you to climb the ranks (or win your games in general) it mainly stems on the fact that since Tyler1 did it and (at the time) didnt get in trouble its perfectly fine to do.

Heck the sheer fact that to this day some of his fanboys believes he did nothing wrong to warrant any type of punishment should tell you how much of an impact he has on the community. Its sad.

What is consider Toxic? by Riot's definition is just as simple as Dont be a Jerk! Dont be someone who gives up so early. If you are down a couple kills, or even objectives doesnt mean the game is over. The game isnt over till the Nexus is destroyed. And yet we had people like Tyler1 whom would run down Midlane and give the enemy team free kills because in his eyes the game was over. Be supportive to your fellow teammates. During the 20-60+ mins you are in that game even with people you dont know, you all have the same objective, to win the game. Why be so hurtful to your teammates who are trying to win? Note that you are able to swear in this game, but its not what you say, its how you say it. Its perfectly fine to say "Fuck, I missed my Q!" Its not ok to say something like "Fuck this worthless Team", "Learn to hit your skills Dumbfuck!" Basically try to keep chatting to what is important to the game. If it doesnt help you try to win the game then it isnt important to write, thats what i go by!
