The Community

Hello, I have been playing League of Legends for a few months now. I have played many different online games at various different levels and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt that you have the worst community. The number of toxic player that talk trash and seek to do nothing but make your life a living hell is ridicules. I have been told to kill myself, that I am worthless and that I am a disgrace just because I play Shaco and that is just a small portion of the abuse that I have seen players take from members of your community. I just got out of a game where two of our players were insulting another one of our players because they had a bad game. The abuse was relentless. I was about to report them after the game was over but I fat fingered my click and ended up leaving the post game lobby. I was surprised to see that you could not report a player after you had left the lobby, even if they had an overly offensive name. I have reported more players and in more frequency than ever before playing an online game and have probably filed well over 50 reports to the tribunal, none of which have been heard. You have a serious issue with your community being toxic and, as far as I can tell, you are doing nothing about it. Yes, I have heard several times on your site that you are trying to cut down on this problem but I have seen absolutely no action on this. League of Legends is a free to play game that people can play for fun or can play competitively but your community will abuse you if you had a bad game. This has to stop, it is degrading to your product and your image and I do not believe that you want it but if you think that people having bad games deserved to be told to kill themselves, than you are worse than your community.

Please not that this is not to say that everyone that plays League of Legends is bad. Most of the people are okay people. However, there are quite a few people that are genuinely awful and have no place here.
