"It's just a normal game, Y U Mad Bro"

Why is that behavior/attitude allowed in this game? Reporting does next to nothing, when the player moves around in base so they don't get flagged for afk. It is quite potentially the most frustrating aspect of this game to me. I play 3v3 with a friend or by myself, if I was allowed to solo queue a ranked treeline map I would. This will probably be ignored but at least I feel a minor amount of relief from posting an angry thought.

Just so you know, Leaverbuster doesn't only flag people who actually leave the game. It also catches people who move around doing useless stuff to intentionally not get forcefully disconnected, like simply running around in base.

Question: How do you know that reporting does nothing? Is it because the people you report aren't punished as fast or as quickly as you would like? Reporting does in fact help alert Riot to these players, but it takes time for them to go through the many reports that they get each and every day, some of which are just false reports I'm sure.

As for your other point there are indeed systems in place to help snuff out those kinds of people that try to avoid getting flagged by LeaverBuster. In fact, I believe that LeaverBuster is also programmed to help detect those kinds of actions as well and not just leaving a game early. Also, chances are that those players acting up have already been punished before, so by reporting them you're potentially bumping them up to a 2-week or even a permaban status for their accounts.

If someone is intentionally feeding or intentionally trolling, you report them. Trying non-meta champs, builds, or strategies is not trolling and not reportable in Normals. Normals is where players try new things to see if it will work in Ranked.

Upvoted both of your posts (prandine & zombie), I do realize that reporting is a feature that takes time and doesn't happen quickly. I more meant that the threat of being reported does not deter these people from participating in negative behavior, from my personal experiences.

It should be reportable the same way "gg easy" is.

I would say it depends on what the state of the game is, if someone does it from minute 1, yeah sure it's just being afk

But i have to admit i sometimes i do it in some situation Countless times in normal do i find myself 15 minutes in with the team being globally 3/15 or something, with all but our inib turret gone and 4 vs 5 cause somebody has already ragequit.

But because it's still early they cannot necessarilly dive innib turret (or maybe they don't have the comp), more often than not they aren't very good themself so they still play 1-2-1 with the jungler farming like a beast both jungle, so the game can stall in that state for 10-15 minute provided we have some kind of waveclear.

Since we are not at the 20min mark we cannot surrend but even if we are past it there is always an assasin that is 6/7 and can go 1for1 suiciding for the support and the kid gets a kick out of it so he will not surrend ==> I'm hostage of a kid who like killing supports, and afk and some feeders (and i don't say i don't sometimes share some responsabilities in the loosing situation we are in).

In this particular case i very often do run around the fountain waiting for them to finish, cause if i waveclear i just make this painfull game last longer
