Obvious question, I know. But I've never heard of it dropping a couple levels.
I went from 4/5 down to 2 and I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I'm being punished or what because I got no feedback. Seems kind of silly that my punishment is something that I didn't hardly notice. I can certainly think of a couple games where the trash talk got escalated or an off-color joke was made but with no feedback I have no idea what did it.
Or it's a bug.
If your honor was above 2, it resets at the beginning of the season.
New season reset. It can drop lower if banned or silenced.

Resets at the beginning of every season so you have something to work towards again.
Yes honor can be lowered in many ways.
Right now, you are most likely just seeing the drop due to the new season having come into effect, as say you were honor 5 last season it now reset you to honor 2 checkpoint 3.
Other cases that bring honor down, which is usually an honor lock plus honor 0 or 1 is when you receive a punishment (like a two week ban)
