Type "going for 100 deaths" run directly at the turret without attacking and keep ur account, thx

Not sure why some people are not simply banned. But of course its ranked... so.

People can purchase boots then run straight at the turret and die at the 30 second mark... type into chat "99" respawn, run directly in and die again before his lane foe even arrives... type "98"

You can see where this is going.

I'd say he got to about "89" when I muted him.

But for him to be in ranked he has to have leveled to 30 and unlocked 16 champs. Meaning he is complete;y unconcerned with this type of behavior being punished or resulting in a ban.

And that is the saddest part in all of this.

This is not spontaneous behavior. This is something a person with no fear of repercussion does because they have been taught through previous inaction that there will be zero reprisal.

This combined with all the racism and homophobia that goes unchecked is just too much. Especially considering I have to toil through the game for 20 minutes because if I don't then I am the one punished via leaverbuster. Gonna take a break from this and try something else, at least til next year. The community here is not very encouraging to be around as of late and the leaverbuster mechanic actually assists the griefing. Without it there us nothing keeping you in games like this.

edit: In case u are wondering he finished with 21 deaths before becoming bored.

Did you report them?

LordFluffyJr12/9/2015, 4:35:20 PM12 votes

I saw this on stream with 20,000 plus players. I watched the streamer quickly hit report, select the boxes, and then enter another que. I checked that guys summoner name later and guess what. He doesn't do it every game. He does it 1 in about 10 games. How does someone in high diamond low master do that this often and not get banned?

EDIT: But it's okay, my friend told someone "Stop feeding, don't fight him. Just farm it out." the dude yelled at my friend and my friend got a message saying he was reported or something.

Riot will not punish a player for one game no matter how severe the damage.

I'm not saying I'm the perfect player, but my only time getting a 10 game chat restriction, that was easily worked off in an hour of bot games in dominion and didn't teach me a damn thing, was because I went on tilt for 3 games because of rampant intentional feeding on my team in ranked. Even if you go 25-3-15 on Elise Jungle pushing objectives, Killing the carries etc, you can't deal with a split pushing Tryn, Rageblade Anything, etc. that fed off your mid or bot lane because there currently IS no way to come back from that.

Riot's system is currently more of a punishment to the Non toxic players than it is for the toxic ones. Someone that's smart with their intentional feeding will do it one game, play normally the next, and then go back to intentional feeding the moment someone pisses them off and riot's system currently does not check patterns in games until multiple BACK TO BACK reports are given. I know this because one game I got pissed off at a teammate, intentionally fed, said it in chat, and nothing happened, not even a warning.

I'm quite sad that riot hasn't caught on or even made the effort to update the reporting system since it's last update when it's getting rather obvious that the system isn't curbing toxicity, but helping increase it.

What makes you think he didn't get banned?

ThatH1N112/10/2015, 1:14:14 AM2 votes

did he get to 100?

Randomonium12/9/2015, 4:31:15 PM2 votes

He will get banned eventually. I wish riot would do something to compensate players who players who lost ranked games to such players. Like for example if Riot bans someone for intentionally feeding then all of that player's allies would receive a retroactive loss forgiven for the game he played with them.

One time I went into my match history and I saw my last 3 played games were nasus top in ranked with around 30 deaths a piece, I don't play ranked.

Some one hacked into my account and tried to get it banned through intentionally feeding and it probably would've worked if I didn't send in a support ticket and the fact that I had never played ranked before or intentionally fed before helped my case a lot.

I feel like a lot of these super feed in ranked accounts could be people who were in the same boat as me, and I'd be furious if they banned my account because some dork decided to have some fun at everyone else's expense.

Probably not tho, I still report when that stuff happens, but it's always I'm the back of my mind

Secretlolz12/10/2015, 1:22:11 AM2 votes

Should be obvious at this point that Riot absolutely doesn't care how many people ruin the games. They just have an automated and inefficient system that looks for continuous patterns and bans. People know how to avoid those patterns and go unpunished ruining everyone's experience.

Riot only cares for how much money they can produce, not about if you're having a bad time

League gets worse and worse because the punishment system gets stupider and stupider. Do they even have ONE toxic player on staff?

Opportunistic12/10/2015, 7:45:36 PM1 votes

Here riot, problem solved. account bans and I.P. Bans instead. O, I.P. bans failed because player changed service providers? Ok time for a STATIC IP BAN ( yes that is possible ).

I do agree that punishment should be dealt swiftly, severely and 100% of the time (In the case of assholes being assholes). A player having a bad game is debatable but someone being a tool straight up is pretty easily identifiable and cut and dry.

I've played mostly Bots and ARAM because I just didn't want to deal with the toxicity. I feel helpless sometimes because I sank so much money into this game out of the fact I DO enjoy the game in itself, but I'm limited and restricted that I can't enjoy it to the fullest extent (Not counting ranked. I'm not touching that) due to just not wanting to deal with the BS. Muting and ignoring only goes so far when you've already been humiliated and berrated.

Stop being such a baby. This shit is human nature. Suck it up.

I really hope you're ignored. You sound like one of those people that reports people because you died diving Leona and Ashe under turret at level 1 and somehow expected your support to help you get a double kill instead of dying. Your kind is too prevalent in ranked. There is no way you should be handed to opportunity to punish people for their opponents being better.

They may have wanted to quit anyway.

Samus7212/10/2015, 12:00:42 AM1 votes

A couple of people have said that one game of bad stuff won't get you punished. That's a dangerous way to play. Depending on the severity, Riot absolutely can punish someone for one game. They have the sole discretion to do so if that's what Riot wants to do. Yes, it is more likely that things will just stack up against you. But do you really want to risk that? Well, it's your account. But I'd advise against that.

DeynaTaggerung12/10/2015, 1:24:33 AM1 votes

If you look at his match history he doesn't have any other games like that. Most likely he was frustrated at being stuck in B5 and decided to blow off steam in that game. I'm not saying that his behavior was anything like acceptable, but you have to realize that's not something that Riot can really catch as a 1 off thing.

I think the reason you're getting so frustrated is because you play too much ranked. Playing Ranked when you're not really moving anywhere can be very frustrating, especially in Bronze. I know because that was me a year ago. Go back to normals where people don't get as worked up and where your MMR can climb easier. Focus on both enjoying the game for just being a game again and think about what you could do to improve. It can be hard to improve when the people around you are playing pretty poorly (there's a lot of chronic B5ers out there). Pull back from that environment for a bit, and when you do start Ranked again that should be enough impetus to get you moving again.

(if you have some free time leaguecraft101 the youtube series is great and it's what got me out of Bronze. Even though the examples are a little old, all the mechanics he talks about are still very true.)

RITO is so stupid that tey dont implement a save replay system,to upload a little avi/screenshot to the system/forum to report but they punish you for insult feeders, they go 1/10 or afk in base doing little steps to not get dc,you insult them and who gets the punishment?you again,RITO please put a replay system to record matchs every single moba has it and works to track bad players

you mean you're surprised people do this in this community? i've actually had a shaco rage at me because i wouldnt get gromp low for him while he was killing blue so he gets it cleared faster then feed my lane and then my opponent said he was going to honor him for the free win he then proceeded to tell me he wont get banned because they only look at the chat and that i was going to get banned because i was typing in all chat to report him... i reported and nothing happened he still does it like once every 10 games i checked his match history about a week later...dont worry though the root of toxicity is from people who say negative comments ingame which the robot can find the key word and ban them
