AFKs in ranked games are infuriating and feel unfair.
I initially posted this in the wrong section of boards, so this is a repost. Sorry about that.
Yes, I'd like to preface this by admitting that I am a low elo player. However, that doesn't make my opinion on this matter any less valid. Today, I played a couple ranked games. There were no real issues during the first one. During the second, everything was going pretty well. We were pushed up to the enemy base, with only a couple nexus turrets left. But I digress. My jungler disconnected. This, along with the other team outscaling us, meant we were unable to win teamfights. The enemy team rushed mid, and we lost because we couldn't defend against all of them. I was about to hit a promotion series, but now I'm left pretty far from it. So I ask you, Riot, why do the players that remain in the game have to deal with the consequences of something out of anyone's control? I couldn't bring my teammate back into the game no matter what. Since this has happened on multiple occasions, I've left games furious at the fact that it didn't matter how well I played the game, since the loss was nearly guaranteed. Does Riot plan to implement any system of compensation for losses due to disconnects? Or do players have to deal with games that have predetermined outcomes?
