so the game i just ended my bot lane were speaking Chinese so im like okay %%%%%%%%%%% chang. get involved in the convo you know. and it turns out they speak english and decided to tell me "send me 50 bucks to my pay pal and ff the game or i get you perma banned"(my bot lane) one of which tried to speak to me in broken spanish.(i am hispanic) started calling me a racist for it. After the game this player decided to flaunt how many people he got banned for it see now my problem with this is 1. why the fuck is everyone so sensitive over jokes at this point and 2. if its in the fucking chat logs that this guy is trying to take money for this why are the bans going through lol (if it is true) ohh and on a last note they tried to ff at 20 mins after they tried to run it down mid over and over again in 2v5s

Yeah, that's definitely a racist comment.

Right off the bat, regardless of what they did this isn't cool and whatever their motive for reporting you may be, it would be valid.

and it turns out they speak english and decided to tell me "send me 50 bucks to my pay pal and ff the game or i get you perma banned"

This would be classified as negative behavior. Asking for reports or using them as a weapon (AKA "You're getting permabanned after this game GG your account") is reportable.

After the game this player decided to flaunt how many people he got banned for it see now my problem with this is 1. why the fuck is everyone so sensitive over jokes at this point and 2. if its in the fucking chat logs that this guy is trying to take money for this why are the bans going through lol (if it is true)

1 - First off, what you said wasn't a joke. Making fun of the way someone speaks or just their culture in general (specifically in this scenario: saying "chang chong" to Chinese players) is racist and prejudiced behavior. If you want to use that language, do it amongst friends and people who are comfortable with that language, not random people you meet on the internet/in public.

**(Edit: And just as a disclaimer: Using that language is still considered zero-tolerance behavior in League. Even in a 5-man premade, you can still get banned for it.) **

2 - The report system is completely unbiased. Someone can make death threats and intentionally feed a game and that will not effect the worth of their report, they are not the ones "on trial" in this situation.

You can, however, report that player for their behavior and they will be reviewed just the same as you were.

Who are you accusing of being "so sensitive"? The guys baiting kids into getting themselves banned with racist jokes? Theyre fucking with you. Theyre not offended at all. They WANTED you to make the racist joke and you took the bait.... which doesnt even sound like real bait. Sounds like they were just chatting in their language, and you decided to mock them lol. Not the smartest move on your part, but I understand. You just acted on an impulse and I'm not judging you for that, but it definitely wasnt wise.

For the second point, context in chat doesnt really matter. Just because one guy is breaking the rules, doesnt mean everyone else is allowed to. Report them, and they will be judged just as you were by Riot. This kinda covers your last point as well... hope you reported them.
