Are you annoyed by pings that don't actually have anything to do with what they represent? Are you constantly annoyed by the no mute ping option, because it may be a detriment to communication? Well how about: Ping restrictions! If you are reported by enough players for excessive pinging, you will be issued a 25 game ping restriction, and/or other players will be allowed to mute your pings if you are reported for it often enough AND it shows in the ping tally. Edit: Your champion also has to wear a dunce cap for the entirety of the game.

This actually isnt a bad idea. making it so you can only mute people who are restricted would keep people from x9muting every game

Riot obviously doesn't want pings to be muted. Won't happen sorry. Good idea though.

Reminds me of hearthstone where the phase "well played" was turned into a form of harrass.

Any interaction between players could follow the same premise as the OP
