Who else see's this game as a little world of sad sad people? I just left another match where I was called trash every 30 seconds for 25 minutes, made fun of for being NA on my NA server(he was hispanic of some sort), anything you could think of, he threw at me. I held my silence even after he literally refused to gank even while he walked right by while i was pinned on my turret. I ask in the end for my team to report him, they say, for what? He's doing fine? So in the end, the players see other flamers as their friends and can relate to the pointless trolling to get satisfaction off of. They see it as an easy way to ruin someone else's day to make up for their crappy day, not cool. There is no way to penalize these players as the community is made up of it.

I've noticed that 80% of players on here clearly have some kinda self issue they need to care for, but let me make this clear! There is nothing that will make you a cool person about trying to make someone else mad! Take care of this attitude

It really sucks when a player has nothing better to do than harass other people trying to enjoy a match, but you don't really need to listen to it more than you want to; if someone is being toxic in chat, open up the scoreboard and mute them. Pings are more than sufficient for communication in most circumstances.

You don't really need to ask others to report them either. All reports trigger a review, and more reports don't make the system find anything different or come to a different judgement for that review; in other words, 1 report is just as good as 9. If you can't trust them to support your plays, treat them as a liability and don't expect them to follow you in so you can make better tactical decisions. Just because they don't do what you want doesn't mean you're being trolled, players disagree on what to do all the time, so keep that in mind.

  1. Don't expect someone to report behavior they didn't see. One report is enough to flag the review system, no need to ask the enemy team for reports.
  2. Why didn't you just mute the guy?
