Option to auto mute rather then manual? Ex: All chat @Rito

I think this would be a really helpful option. It would really help with player behavior. The ping system is more then enough to convey everything to everyone especially with time stamps, people can see when flashes are up etc. So I think the option to automatically have games mute everyone before you go into game would help with player toxicity i think. The option to have all chat turned off, just add another option to have team chat off as well? I think this would go pretty well with the community. I think a lot of people would forget to turn it back on to see what people actually say or forget it was even on so they would be less likely to respond to people baiting them into a argument. Or even if they say something, they would see no reply so no incentive for them to continue raging. I would really appreciate a response to a reasons why you wouldn't want this @Riot if you think this is bad just to understand another point of view.

Learn some self-control. Why should every single one of your team be put in an automatic disadvantage? If you truly cannot control yourself, then you're going to need to go out of your way to mute yourself. Rito will not auto do it for you. I don't believe in everyone have a flamer/troll. Auto-mute non-troll teammates put your entire team at a disadvatage, especially if they call out things and not realize you auto mute them.

You will meet assholes and flamers in real life too, at a restaurant, at a movie theater, most especially at a job. Learn to properly deal with them instead of pretending you live in a cave.

What disadvantage would that be? Tell me an occasion where pings aren't able to convey what you want to do? Do you realize why almost every single streamer is saying voice chat shouldn't be added because the ping system is more then enough? I think ur team would be more disadvantaged if u unknowingly tilt someone and lose the game. So please, play the game before you comment. Your comparing a fucking video game online to real life situation which have nothing in common. From your match history, you don't even play the game? just get off the boards. Do you just have nothing else to do with your time other then make stupid comments on the boards?

because if some wishes to type out their calls and you auto-mute them, you will miss said calls. You cannot interpret pings if they don't ping to begin with. Hence, putting your team at automatic disadvatage before game even begins. Maybe there will be strategy discussion you will miss.

Why ARE you looking at my match history anyway? Does it bring anything to THIS particular discussion other than a way to detract it?

the confrontational exchange between you guys is exactly why muting all is such a good idea. if this were a match of league, just seeing you two go at it could tilt other players since neither of you were able or willing to convey your opinions without insulting each other.

players know that muting exists. players also know that pings are there for a reason. if a player chooses not to use the ping system and happens to be muted in game, there might be a gap in communication... but ultimately, i think it falls on players to use pings since it's well known that toxicity exists and that a lot of players /mute all to avoid it.

But what exactly would you use? the Danger/Missing ping wouldn't work because one assumes the enemy is there. Assist Me, and On My Way doesn't mean lets baron, it could mean let me see if Baron is warded/Ward Baron. While Pings are a great way to communicate, it shouldn't be a substitute for the chat if you have some self control. You should only be muting people if you know they are using it wrong and tilting you/toxic. So why give that option to do that even before you met these people? Why ruin the potential outcome of the game even before knowing your teammates?

An occasion where pings aren't necessarily enough that comes up:

I want to splitpush bot and have my team pressure Baron to ensure we get either a free Baron or a free tower.

In chat I type "Group as four at Baron and clear vision, but don't start it unless you see two bot. If you start it and they move to fight as 3, peel off and kill them 4v3 instead of risking the 50/50".

How would you communicate that with pings? Pinging "I'm on my way" bot and "Assist me" at Baron almost works, but doesn't indicate that you're trying to pull two bot and to not commit to Baron if the enemy team fights. And yeah, some people are already familiar with the strategy, but not everyone is, and a storm of pings is usually more confusing than informative.

Don't stress it, the idea of applying pressuring while your team gets objectives is too hard for your s5 games. And there is a ping to target monsters. Its not hard for u to ping barron when u see 2 bot. Thats how. If you really can't convey the idea like that, your prob not doing it right

I am a newer player to LoL, what is the ping shortcut asking for a gank next time Bot pushes to our tower, or the shortcut saying I am going to push top after this team fight while the rest of you can go take a dragon?

you hold down your ping button. then assist ping dragon while u ping "OMW" of your intention going top OR OR OR OR you just target the dragon or the enemy ping? xd If everyone in your game is above the age of 13, should be fine and how are you new when lvl 61 and even know that concept? XD stop going on different accounts when one of yours is defeated buddy. jesus not gonna reply to your same point from different accounts anymore.

Actually i only have one account, and in comparison to most LoL players I am new, only started to play at the end of august.
