Riots system to detect greifers doesn't work 99% of the time

Ye thats just it. I know match histories who purposely greif/ int feed 10-15 games without typing to lose games, and riots system does nothing to deal with. If you say otherwise you actually have no idea. You can put this theory to the test if you don't believe it which i have to say don't do because this post might deleted. I don't have answers on how to solve it. I just know its the elephant in the room which riot hasn't addressed enough

Edit: Just to add on to this, a Masters player on youtube pointed this out since he was tilted and didn't get caught until he got in a game with scarra. He later deleted the video after seeing the negative feedback on him inting others from 1 game.

this is nothing new tbh. 10-15 games? bro dont you remember "killtaiwanese" from reddit? this guy intet over 50.000 games and only got banned because reddit shined light upon him. and now he does the same with another account.

or the other dude who had a 100% winrate on master yi in over 400 games and a 0% winrate on tahm in over 400 games because he only trolled his own team with tahm w.

this is a very well known problem and, sorry if i have to say this, only braindamaged blind idiots say its not. but the real problem is: how do you create a "troll buster"? how do you say if someone whos 0/20 is really trolling (not inting, trolling) or just getting camped and has a horrible bad game? or maybe he is a support whos 0/20/80. how do you tell? i could tell you 5 creative ways i saw myself once how people troll. and i can tell you at least 4 of these 5 ways are SO CLOSE to normal playing. so how do u tell

You're probably being a little generous with that 99% number. Unfortunately, this forum ignores the issue and pretends it doesn't exist.

The problem is the system looks for averages. So if you're going 0/10 each game the system thinks you just suck. It needs to start looking at death locations.

And retaliating or leaving the game with said griefer is still punishable.

Im sure the argument against it is "slippery slope" and unfair bannings, which I would be afraid of if I chose to try a new champion or a new build....just because I'm not doing well doesn't mean I'm not doing my best. How would we separate out the truly reported trolls from tilted teammates who are just reporting someone because they're upset with their performance?

It's hard for any system to automatically detect griefing?

Smite for example detects it too easily I went 0/1/0 had a toxic team wishing I get shot and saying that the guy who recently passed away was a nobody which btw left 2 young children behind deserved it?

After the game, I got reported my Good-Will reset to 0 and threatened to get banned if I play another conquest and got reported again the only way to avoid the automated system is to spam arena fill up 100% Good Will again.

^ This is why an automated system can be bad but so far Riot Games has gotten rid of most chat toxicity I rarely see anything as hateful as I saw over there in smite, but as far as Intentional Griefing anyone can do it and riot does punish it.

For example, if your jungler keeps running into your lane, ping spamming after you say stop, then replies with ( Your champion Sucks doesn't matter) like one did, or just keeps doing it then it's griefing.

Then there is passive griefing you just intentionally throw the game make it look like an accident bait a final fight, there is no automated system that i am aware of that can deal with this.

yeah man ive seen match histories of people going 0-20+ for hundreds of ranked games in a row before getting banned.

its a super hard thing to program in. a lot of regular players can just have a bad game, get snowballed on and go 0-10. they tried to program it to punish people who were dying a lot under and behind enemy turrets but had to stop that because innocent proxy singed players were getting banned.

its just a very hard thing to do without manually checking games. and with hundreds of millions of games getting played a week, its impossible to manually check them.

This is true back in season 5 after i lost d1 promos on a smurf i picked up an euw acc and inted aprox 20games in a row without flaming and playing the victim consistently. Didnt get banned up untill i started flaming people one month later. But you now riot cares.

I think that if riot made it that having the worst KDA/Kill participation on the team X games in a row should be punishable. If you have the worst KDA on your team 3 games in a row along with the lowest kill participation, in ranked, that should be considered soft inting

Yea ... it's still hard on the system to detect proper griefers, there are just so many false report datas that it makes it hard for the system to identify what is true griefing.

Last I heard, they made a code to detect "run it down mid" more often. Who knows how that one spanned out. We get no clarity in this regards.

If they are that far behind in terms of code detection, it is no wonder that the smarter griefers get away with it.
