2016 ranked season ends soon

Finally, season six ranked rewards have been announced and alongside them, certain eligibility requirements. Below you will find a list of scenarios that will make you ineligible for these coveted rewards.

Yes, some players are ineligible for rewards because of negative in-game behavior. This applies only to the 2016 season. Here are the details:

  • Players with bans or chat restrictions active when the season ends are ineligible for this year’s rewards.
  • Players issued a ban of seven days or more in the three months prior to the end of the season (from August 7 on) are ineligible for this year’s rewards.
  • Players banned for boosting during the 2016 season remain ineligible for rewards.
  • Players who experienced fraud-related and erroneous bans will still be eligible.

All players will have another chance at future ranked season rewards.

To those that meet the requirements now, best of luck in earning your desired rank! To those that are not eligible this year, better luck next year.

end of season rewards are over-rated. id take a 250 chat restriction over that junk any day.

What a joke, "hey I know we already punished your for your behavior with a ban, but lets rub salt in the wound and take away rewards that you earned for getting a good standing in ranked" - Riot 2016

And not only that, there is no in-game notifier that this was going to be a thing, so if you avoid the toxic forums you wouldn't know about it until you raise a support ticket where they state to go to the forums and take it up with people who are just going to flame you? Good customer support riot.

I just got one question: when will be getting an actual nice-looking loading border? These season 5 leftovers looked horrible then, and even worse now!

And where are the Board profile ranked icons? I know I won't be seeing anyone here, on NA, but I don't have one for 2016 on EUNE either.

Hello, I'd like to get something clarified. I had received the 10 game chat restriction 2 days ago. It's my first ever. I'm currently in the "reform period". Even if Riots system determines I have shown good behaviour before the season ends, does this still negate my chances of getting these end of season rewards?

I also asked this in another thread but never got a response:

It's said that the ineligibility to obtain loot after the restrictions ends is dependant on your personal behavior. Based on what I've read here that means going through games without a single valid report. However, what if you run into one of those games where you literally say nothing offensive in chat and play well but you are with or against a pre-made who is set on trolling everyone and reporting you for no reason. Does Riots system recognize that these reports should be invalid or does this affect your chances of getting the privilege of getting loot back?

So I got a chat restriction 2 days ago... but ive completed the 10 games. BUT i cant earn loot like chests or fragments will i be able to earn the end of the season rewards?
