Recent 3rd Party Application Banwave
For anyone that has not yet seen it:
So, a relatively large percentage of the most recent scripting banwave inaccurately targeted previous mkjogo users (a skinhacking application). It was definitely a bug, and we never planned to issue permanent suspensions for this type of abuse. ** As of this post, all affected players have been unbanned. **
Always practice caution in choosing to use client modifications. While we're not permanently suspending for mkjogo today, we're obviously not ever going to condone any "skinhacking" service.
Looks like there were some miscalculations and players who have previously used this application but have not recently were caught in the banwave. Anyone mistakenly caught up in this should now be unbanned according to Riot. If you feel that you were mistakenly banned but are still unable to log in, open a ticket with Player Support and someone will be able to help you figure out what's going on.
