Autofill and how it affects lower elo.

Im sure you've had the feeling of "Oh man I get to play my main today!" and only to find out that you got autofilled sup or jg. (Mainly sup.) My past 3 games have had someone get autofilled, and troll/int instead of just dodging, they have the mentality that consists of: "Well since I got autofilled and I dont want to play this role, I plan on taking the whole team down with me." and instalock zed support.

Its a really sucky feeling and i'm not here to flame you for how you deal with that situation, but I really wish the game had a way to disable autofill. (Dakota, how could you ever SAY SUCH A THING?)

Other games pull it off perfectly fine, like DICE games have an option to make matchmaking "Balanced" (less time in queue and relatively the same skill level) or "Fast" (less time in queue, by any means necessary.)

Maybe League could have something like this? Thanks for listening.

You didn't explain how it affects lower elo. What you mentioned is no different from higher elo.

you can play anything in any role.

This is especially true in lower ELO where everything is viable providing if you have better game knowledge than your opponent.

In higher elo actually autofill isnt needed, because people will get their role 90% of times, and if they get autofilled, they get adc now :D:D Which is actually better than to support, because shitty adc is better than a shitty support. In lower elo autofill is needed , because you will have to wait for like 1 hour to play a game, there everyone thinks that the role that has most impact on the game has none ( support ).
