Player ACCEPTS ready check for queue and then DOESN'T select Champion?!?

O M G. This is happening so much, I thought I would make a thread about it and get the communities thoughts on this issue. I know it may be kind of petty, but I'm really curious as to WHY this is NOT PUNISHED MORE.

So you've gone through 5 queue dodges with players not accepting the ready check...then FINALLY your team enters the Champ Select screen....Hooray!!!! And then it happens...Summoner #2 on the other team or Summoner #4 on your team doesn't select a Champion?!!...and you're back to your 6th queue dodge and you wait some more.

My question is: If you are ready enough to accept the ready check to queue into a game, why the hell aren't you ready enough to PICK A CHAMPION? This happens SO OFTEN it makes your head spin. I truly believe this should be punished MORE SEVERLY than it is now. If you decline the match at the queue point, that's fine...but if you get everyone into a Champion Select and then don't pick...you ass should be grass for a while.

Any comments or things I am overlooking? Thanks!!!

Have you not read the forums on all the players having bug issues with the new client and not being able to select a champ?

You want harsher punishments but people are already being punished when they didn't do anything wrong.

I don't know maybe that person was having a seizure or something don't judge.

Honestly most of the time I do this, I'm not sure who I want to pick and I don't select a champ in time

current bug blocks people from champ select for 15~30 seconds.

My client has bugged out and prevented me from picking champs. It's n ot always the person's fault. There are many people who have created threads about this.

I know how frustrating it is for you as a teammate to get another queue, but it's even more frustrating for the person experiencing the bug and getting a dodge timer when the client actually screwed you over.

Try to cut some people slack.
