I just have a quick question for ( hopefully riot employees ) y'all When we report someone for toxicity, and the program that reviews the chat starts running, does it go through just an in-game chat or it goes for the entire game ( champion selection and post-game screen )

KVbqbFsC8e2 votesWell generally, they aren't handled. Thats one of the larger flaws with the system. If you are acting innocent and positive in-game, you aren't going to be punished until someone decides to submit a ticket.

It should be simple to have the IFS handle this chat too. I cannot imagine Riot wouldn't set it up so that the IFS reviews pre and post game chat.
KVbqbFsC8e2 votesIt may be recorded, but it is not included in the IFS. Thats why you will never see any pre/post game chat on reform cards. The most common answer here was to always mention pre/postgame in the report comment box so it could be possibly manually reviewed.

It would make no sense not to have the IFS review pre & post chat, so I doubt that it doesn't. Just because it doesn't show it in the reform card doesn't mean it doesn't get reviewed.

I'll let you know if I find anything out about now. TBH it should review pre and post chat, seems kind of stupid if it doesn't. This is why hostage taking in champ select doesn't get caught quickly enough.
Baka Red1 votesI believe that The Big Piece is correct (That is: IFS only reads in-game-chat, not pre/post-game-chat logs - pre/post game logs are recorded, but manual review is required for those) and I would not mind to be proven wrong. Actually; I would love to be proved wrong here, so if your support ticket gets answered, please let us know. :)
Icy Hot Shoto1 votesRecently, within the last month I believe, Riot Tantram has said that yes, the IFS does read the pre- and post-game chat. However, it does not YET show on the card. They're working on a way to get it to show on the card.
