people banning the champion you have declared
I AM SO TIRED OF THIS. they do it just because they can. for example: "oh you wanna be teemo? i must ban teemo." and then they do. just to be douchebags. i hate people.

People ban your champ if he is op... If you are the last pick i'm not gonna risk him being on their team... I'd rather remove him than deal with him... Simple as that...
Why declare then? (personally i don't play ranked so i don't know alot) unless you play an Op champion i don't see why you would tbh.
Just wondering who you were trying to play as? I highly doubt the example was who you want to play because I don't think I've ever seen a ban on Teemo, unless it was someone who really did not want to go against him.
But it does help if we know who you are trying be. Because sadly some people seem to think that playing new champions, or what is currently OP/FotM, means that people are out to get them.
While it does suck if you want to play as these champions (as a support main I've wanted to get better with Tahm) you have to remember this is a team game and most people will ban what they feel would do better and try to up the chances of winning! Like I said this means OP champs as well as FotM champions are basically autobans! What I currently see ban are champs like: Darius, Yi, Tahm, Blitz, Zed, Ekko. Sol use to be on that list, but now that is isn't "new" anymore people have more faith when they see others plays as him!
Some guy thought it was funny to ban Caitlyn because of my name. So I thought it was funny to play Crittlesticks. We lost.
Blame Riot for not taking any actions about trolls. IN one ranked game 3 man pre-made team picked 3 supports. Asked for a full support team. I LOST THAT GAME. Since then I do the same, I don't like your pick, I Ban yes because I can. Go ask riot to fix it. They won't, too busy getting players banned over raging while the trolls run freely
Report for assisting enemy team. Say "Banned out <insert champion name here> while I was showing pick intent for that champion." in the report box.
If you're talking about an always pick/ban champion like the several named by another poster, nothing will happen.
If the champion in question is Teemo or Bard or something that's rarely picked or banned, it's a valid report and they'll get corrective action.
And if people ban out my champion because it's "too trolly", I pick something even more trolly. Ban my Lux support? Say hello to Ashe support.
ive drawn up a potential solution to this. a ban block similar in nature to a dodge timer or low priority queue. where if you ban a champ that someone had selected as pick intent you would be automatically barred from banning for the next few games. even if no punishment was handed out. players who change pick intent would be treated as responsible for themself
The major problem when it comes to this scenario (and any other one like it) is that frequently, the one put in power of a ban has major tunnel-vision to not use something that they wanted to play or something that's (wait for it)
Off-Meta!
Off Meta =/= Insta-loss, and this is just something that people need to start accepting. Usually people ban picks even if they're shown for this reason and this reason alone. The way I see it, there are two solutions
Don't show pick intent for who you REALLY want. They may end up getting mad at you, but hey; at least you get to practice that (insert champ and role here) that you wanted to get good with or try out.
Try and explain to them your intentions and plans before the bans even roll around. While most people still blatantly disregard the pre-match team chat, you're bound to catch at least one person's eyes and hopefully that person is the one who WON'T ban out your pick because they felt like it.
Also, some people genuinely don't notice the pick intents since they ARE just faded pictures of a champ. No flash, colour, anything like that. It's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention or just look away for a second or so. When people tell you "oh sorry i didn't notice" then it's really just a coin-flip as to whether or not that's the truth or they're trying to cover a mistake and/or intentional ban.
In the end, it IS ultimately the banner's choice on who to ban. We can't change that, but we sure can try to convince them to see things your way.
i have a confession to make. i really love playing tryndamere, and i read somewhere that playing a close range champion or a champion that everyone hates increases your chance to get banned from the game. I personally think that this is unfair. why doesnt riot nerf these champs!? and what if you are really attached to 1 character, who happens to be someone you like a lot, and the enemy team will probably report you for it. well, in my shop, tryndamere was on a special 70% offer and you could get his viking skin. And then i got really attached, but i practically lose games. not a lot,but when i do lose, i lose pretty badly.and, yeah, i understand why you get punished for leaving 3 games even if its bot.but they multiply each time you get them, and it can make you wait 30 minutes before you can actually search a game. And the game doesnt forget, eather.you can leave so many times, your account gets banned.i havent banned yet, but i have been in low priority, for 10 minutes and 5 games. that is just straight up nasty.NOw, im not trying to say that lol is a bad game, its addicting and fun,but i bet you, that the most hated champs can dash to their enemys, when u can use flash, heal themselves, u can use heal, and healing has a high cooldown and isnt affective in early game sometimes. i think what really happens is that people come up with very good builds, and the champ has nothing to do with it.just that it can dash and heal. you can buy hextech gunblade to slow movement speed, damage them and catch then running, and use healing potions that can only buy for 50 coins. i think that riot should tone down the punishment so people dont rage quit their life, and so people dont say that this is a bad game, and that hated champs can just be nerfed.case closed.
That's why I never play DQ if I have the chance... And I never reveal my main in gamemodes and instead just let it gamble it out.
I'm sorry but I always ban champions I don't want. For example, I don't like Bard, I think he's terrible unless you're Matt, or Aphromoo. So if I see a Bard in the selection, I'm banning bard.
It's my right to ban whoever I want. I got the ban, you do not have any say of who I should ban. I feel Bard is bad, that I lose more games with a Bard on the team, then I ban Bard.
What's funny is usually this triggers the person into showing their true colors of being toxic, then they proceed to troll, but going back to banning someones champion. You can tell someone nicely and they get all offensive.
Can you please not play Bard?
Can you pick someone other than Bard?
Nope, being nice doesn't work, people are selfish and refuse to listen, and do what they want. So fuck 'em, I got the ban, I do what i want.
i have experienced this multiple times as first pick. when they do i simply pick their champ.
Meh, I see so many teams trying to build all AD, while I'm the support. My solution is to pick the weakest AD champ on the team and ban it out to at least attempt to fix our comp.
