Just played a game of aram and our Lucian was pretty toxic, he started blaming everyone on the team and got super salty. (i just muted him and continued with the game)
when it ended he said this in the postgame lobby: Please report Taliyah (me) super toxic
Anyone else deals with this a lot? i wonder how many reports i actually got, not like i care because they are false reports

No, actually, the system is really ineffective. you can flame people literally all day long and the idiot chat bots are not capable of detecting it. All you have to do is not use a certain list of words and the chatbot will never even chat restrict you. Meanwhile, all those people reporting, their reports get watered down because the system counts failed reports as ultimately less worthy of consideration.
I'm generally a proponent of optimism and positive thinking because as a default, the opposite way is just destructive. However, it's simply not true that the system is effective. It's trivial to work around it and still flame people.

scazzman2 votesriot claims false reports wont do anything. however this is a half truth, false reports when reviewed by the IFS dont completely dissapear from your record. theyre saved in the event of a manual audit by a rioter. unfortunately. this means that during the inbetween window of bot review and manual review. they can cause a real report to trigger a punishment more easily
Kei1431 votesEhh.. I don't know about that. If it is a false report, it's not adding any marks onto your punishment history, even if it is pending a manual review for the future.
SupportSmiteSinged was reported by 50% of people that played with him, yet he wasn't punished by the IFS.
