Flamming in URF

URF is the single silliest game mode in the entirety of league of legends. ARAM is more serious. When you lose, it doesn't even say defeated, it says second place. There is no LP on the line, no blue essence, no bragging rights, no skins, orange essence. There is literally not a single conceivable reason why you should take URF seriously in any way shape or form. It is one of the least serious things on the entirety of the history of the planet. So can someone explain to me why I can't get a single URF match without half the team tilting, flamming, and cursing in chat five minutes in?

Probably because they are already tilting from not getting to pick their champ.

Because silly doesn't automatically make something bearable (trust me, I'm a Panda). Why do people get mad at gambling machines when they lose? The reason I use that question is because with it being AR, it is much a luck of the draw thing.

Cus URF sucks. Your win depends on luck. Better champions wins. And block Jax in URF. Ty.

It personally tilts me, when I see our garen rushing rabadons as first item. I don't understand why urf matchmaking is like this, I usually have at least 1 or 2 bronze players in my and in the enemy team, when I'm diamond. My qeue times are around 1 or 2 seconds. Couldn't the qeue times be like 1 minute in order to not match you with people who play this game first time in their lives? It's not good for the enemy bronze who I shit on, and not good for me to have to play in a bronze elo game, fun or not.

because it's not "all random". you see maokai fiora riven almost every game

probably because you dont play a game just to waste 15 mins of your time

Sucks getting stuck w/ a "random" champion rather than picking one you enjoy.. Even if you lose, at least picking the champ means you got to have some fun...

Its terribly unbalanced. You can't take a "balanced" meta, throw in CDR 80%, you are fundamentally voiding any balancing you've done. Even if its an all random gamemode, one team will fundamentally out weigh the other team by a larger margin in every possible composition. Simply banning broken champs doesn't work. It just creates another pool of broken champs through tiers of performance, you might as well ban 90% of the champs.

Certain skills need to be slower for a less tilting experience. Specifically these. (example: Quinn's Vault, Le Blanc's Dash, Rakan's Stun (all can be used in 0.2s succession))

because it is AR and people want to pick their champions

You are correct entirely. It is NOT to be taken seriously.

However, it is not fun when you have people on YOUR team who aren't trying. Yes, it is a goofy ass, stupid as fuck mode where you just mash buttons... but when people appear to be intentionally losing on YOUR team, its fucking annoying.

Because the randomness, or lack there of is tilting. It says random but in reality you have a 50% chance to get Veigar in your game which is the most BS stuff to play against. People inherently want to win, this is a trait in everyone who games, so when you get a B tier pick and the enemy team is all S tier picks, the likelihood of winning is very slim. This is a problem really because if it was random you would see less S tier picks than garbage picks, but that just isn't the case. It tilts people, just mute and move on.
