how do you actually ban someone? cause we all know the in game report does nothing

so im in silver 2 and I have noticed a lot of afk/int feeding people even more then in bronze... last game we had a fizz that kept spamming pings and quit along with the vel'koz which caused me to lose the ranked game... and I feel like there is nothing I can do since if I take a screenshot and post it... the post gets taken down because I have a players name in it. also If I report in game nothing gets done and the player probably keeps spamming going afk/dc in other games

Reports trigger reviews. Reviews trigger bans.

You shouldn't feel as though your report does nothing. They might have had a rare bad day. They might have received a chat restriction. They might have been punished, but you didn't get the notice because someone else was the last straw.

there is no way tot tell if a player has been punished unless your report was the final one they got.

The post-game report actually does a great job in getting people punished.

Toxicity in S6 is actually at an all time low, which is why when you report someone, it is unlikely they will get punished, because they haven't accumulated enough punishable games.

As VenomFrost mentioned, you'll only get a notification if the game you reported them in was the game they got punished, and not while it is building a case.

The downside with having toxicity at an all time low in combination with how the notification works, is that people feel that their reports don't do anything or even worse, the system doesn't do anything. What Riot calls "low visibility" on the system.

They are very aware of the low visibility on the behavioral system. New features are on its way after new client gets released and is stable. But too bad we currently have no idea what new features will be in the client.
