is there any way to appeal a suspension? For instance if we felt the punishment didn't really fit the crime

Submit a support ticket.

You can try sending riot a support ticket https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us but usually they don't do much change to them depending on the Punishment.

Thank you very much. I'm just trying to figure out if they happened to think I was insulting someone. I was complaining about a champ in all chat out of frustration & got a 14 day suspension. I see people threaten to kill each other all the time lol. I'm not quite sure what I did deserves such a harsh punishment

If you want, you can post your chat logs here and let us take a look at them, just so we could work through all of it together and see what might have triggered your suspension.

Preciate it but I've already pushed a ticket through so we'll just see what they say
