Exactly. Don't put much value on your skill at league of legends. Don't worry bout it dude. There's pretty decent ELO players who still get called retards and what not for misplays. People are just assholes.
The sad thing is Riot will probably see the reports and then do a temp ban on the account because they have no system in place for fighting a report

You should just do what I do then. I too am not very mechanically skilled at the game but I'm gold 3 and climbing fairly easily. All you need to do is play durable champions. This includes tanks and fighters like Tryndamere who have abilities that make them durable. I refuse to play anyone who is squishy because the chances that I will feed with them are pretty high.
