Ranked Problems

  2. Incompetent players or bots. I'm talking run into towers and die but it looks like they're "having a bad game".
  3. What's a Meta? and other clueless player types.
  4. Horribly skewed win:loss ratio's in Promo's. Literally 80% wins turn into 20% wins in promos. Don't believe me? Go do the math.
  5. New Queue is just well... horrible. It's not an improvement in any way. It didn't solve any previous issues and created new ones.

Just a friendly reminder that this crap is still HUGELY prevalent and affects 90% of my games.

  1. Yes, it sucks really really hard. We've all played with quitters, not much to say on this one.
  2. Incompetent is a pretty harsh way of calling someone less-skilled, and while it might be true, you just have to accept that not everyone is going to be amazing at the game. Hell, I'm the first person to call myself "bad" when I mess up. If you're at that elo, you're just gonna have to deal with it. Granted, if the matchmaker is doing it's job, your opponents should be just as bad. As for actual bots, well yeah, sorry you had to deal with that.
  3. Some players genuinely don't know. It shouldn't be common in ranked, but it is possible to get to level 30 playing bots, and anything goes in bots. Giving them some tips here and there (and being nice about it) will probably be appreciated, otherwise just focus on your own play and try to work around them.
  4. I've played this season starting at Bronze 2 and I'm currently Silver 1, so my sample size isn't huge. I personally did have to deal with a few incredibly toxic players, and terrible terrible throws (that were probably legitimately my fault as much as my team's). I even had to retake the B1 Promo a couple times because I was demoted back down to B2 shortly after getting there the first time. But I still managed to climb a little bit, so maybe I just beat the odds, huh?
  5. I don't really have any complaints with the new queue, but I didn't play that much ranked with the old one, so I don't have much to compare it to. I queue up solo but main support/ secondary mid, so that's probably in my favor anyways.

  2. It's not unfair to say that there are completely incompetent players. I'm not saying there are players that are bad. I'm saying that there are players that specifically have NO BUSINESS IN RANKED. And I mean the trolls playing annie jungle or the ones that run into a tower 10 times in a row. Specifically, as I said, THE PEOPLE WHO ARE INTENTIONALLY FEEDING but don't register as such at the moment because of RIOT's leniency toward players with "bad games" it's not a bad game to go 6/10 when you merely picked a couple people off in team fights and ran into a tower 10 times in laning. You're wrong about what I said, Wrong how you're defending it. And even at point 2. I don't care what you have to say anymore cause you're completely incapable of reading... but i'll go on.
  3. That's the f@cking point... They don't know, but SHOULD know. If you went to basketball game with no f@cking idea what a power forward is or how to play with them... you're not a help to your team. Thus, you shouldn't be on that team, you should still be learning.
  4. You got lucky. Pure and simple, or have the gift that is friends to play with that aren't terrible. I'm not as lucky. There is a horrible MMR and matchmaking problem where I win 80+% of games that "don't count" and lose 80+% of games that do... there's a mathematical certainty that something's being manipulated when the odds are such. Don't believe me? Go to your local community college and spend $700 on a statistics class so you can understand it.
  5. When you don't understand what the problems are your opinion is not just unnecessary but unwarranted and detrimental. Find another post to troll.
