Why I a level 11 player hate your game.

Your punishment of those who are agitators and aggressors is lacking while I went into this game as an Ex-Smite Support main who was often positive and happy has now turned bitter and annoyed. If someone is being mean to my team, the people I have to spend the next 40 minutes playing with and I dare to defend them I get punished......If someone is being mean to me and I tell them off without swearing I assure you I get punished.....If someone is spamming "Kill Yourself" in chat I will get them the next game with twice the levels of hate speech and general annoyances.

Tl:DR Im trying to be positive but people constantly personally attacking me, attacking my team, and going after people I care about is making it difficult when I've yet to see those who do such things punished........I dont curse. I dont swear. I dont use hate speech nor imply it yet ive gotten 2 chat restrictions in the past 2 days where people who do such things are constantly in my games.... Please address this behavioral problem with your community riot or else you will continue to lose new customers who fall victim to this kind of neglect and hate.

The TlDR was performed wrongfully and instead I made it more of a what my goal is sorta thing instead of a TlDR which I apologize for.

Mute, report, don't intentionally involve yourself in an argument that will ultimately make you part of the problem in the end. Should also keep in mind that in most cases, you won't get a notification of those you've reported if they were to ever be punished afterwards. So it's an unhealthy to assumption to make, that nothing would happen to them.

The punishments are given too eagerly and arent enough when someone truly deserves it. Competitive banner isnt allowed as my original chat restriction came of the sort.

Which isn't something that I can add more so, given the lack of context. We can all claim we don't deserve to be punished or anything of the sort. But in most cases, when threads about a defense are made, it often comes up that what is considered to be ok for some, is considered to be not ok for not only the rules of the game, but for a good deal of players.

If you believe yourself to be a victim of a false report that had slipped through, it's better to file a ticket. Sooner that gets cleared off the account the better in that case.

I assure you it wasn't a false report but, under these circumstances I move that we make what it takes to get a punishment harder/ taking multiple offense and increasing harshness of punishments with more over time.

Players already get permanently banned after a 14 day ban, if they're persistent with their behavior. Unless you plan to head to their place of living and cut off a toe or something, I think the actual punishment itself is bad enough. Also, against the idea of making the punishment system more lenient. The problem is, the game probably is the way it is with the system, due to how players can get.

The unfortunate part is the latter isn't excluded to League. It's why I never bothered with Overwatch Ranked. One match was all it took for me to wonder when I started playing CoD. Competitive games can bring out the worst and best in people.

It sucks. THere are a lot of toxic people out there. Report them whenever you remember to. Things like “kys” or racial slurs get caught pretty quickly. Plus you'll help the resto of the world by getting rid of toxicity. You got this don’t give up!!

This game is clearly not for you. Riot will not change anything because this system is working for us older players. Might not be your standards, but the vast community around the world has adjusted to this system and we're happy with it. Only people who have a problem with this system is either they're new or lack empathy or they're completely ignorant. I and many players who have adjusted to this system have been here since 2009 and still going. Most of us, we go in with a positive attitude and intentions when we play the game. The people who try to ruin it for us, we just mute them, report and move on. Riot isn't really concern about new players, as long they're positive players.

League of Legends is meant for players with a positive mindset and self-control. Which you're lacking. If you don't have that then you're not meant to be here. There are plenty of other games out there.

So you assume that my call of defense to my team's cries makes for a lack of self control? You think that I am not disciplined simply because of the fact I assumed a company as big as tencent would have the competence to create a function system of chatter? You surely have no idea of what you are talking about if you think I walk in with a negative mindset. Its just astonishing the lack of sensical decisions in this games behavioral and correction system.

Not the matter of how you walk in but the obvious state you walked out of this game with. Which leads you to a different game with the same obvious state you're at this exact moment. The system is fine and it's improving. Also, you're only level 11 with maybe what, a week of experiencing League of Legends community? I've been here for 9 years and I've seen it all. I've seen every kind of player the internet has to offer and when it comes to this community, League of Legends community. Nothing surprises me. I've even seen you type of players. New and fresh with billions of thoughts, idea and many complaints. With no idea what they're talking about. While we welcome idea and complaints, there are things that never change here. That's the players. While more are getting punished every day of every hour, we still have them.

You're new here and you have to understand that the mute function is your best friend. We have a couple sayings here.

"Mute Report and move on." and "You're either part of the game or part of the problem."

If you're bent on joining arguments or "defending" yourself or others, then you're part of the problem. Riot wants to get rid of that problem. That's where punishment tiers come in. You only get four. The fourth one is the one you want to avoid. But if you think this game is meant for chatting, arguing, and insulting, then like I said, you're not meant to be here. Because that requires Self-Control.

Advice: If you want to help your team or friends, tell them to mute that toxic player and report after. Don't ask reports, don't tell the player you're them and do not provoke them. Mute. Report. Move on.

Just mute the people who annoy you, and if you're already tilted, mute everyone. You can do this by typing "/mute all" in the chat.

It may be a good idea to let them know you're muting them though so they don't think you're a bot or something, but of course, that's entirely up to you.
