Whats considered "Negative"

So my 14 day ban expires tomorrow and I'm paranoid about getting perma'd. I decided I'm going to mute all at beginning of games and unbind the enter key. This isn't ideal obviously, communication goes a long way but I dont trust myself. I was thinking though that if I let everyone know that I was going to mute all during champ select, would that be considered negative? Like is that ban worthy? If you have an suggestions or answers that could help feel free to comment Thanks

I can tell you that muting everyone is honestly not the answer, I got my main account banned a while back and it wasn't even because of a dispute with my team.

What I suggest is that you remove cross chat, mute teammates the represent toxicity early on and enjoy playing without care for their rude comments. It may be a game but some people take it serious at times.

My behavior has been a lot cleaner lately without the option to cross chat since there's no one able to instigate you on from the enemy team with it disabled. Focus on having fun, if people are telling you that you are inting or trolling and persist to be rude about it then simply mute them, they can communicate through pings and if they can't even handle that even that can be muted.

As long as you don't intentionally run down mid or repeatedly run into the team on purpose nothing will happen if they report you. I suggest getting a cup of water and taking a sip everytime you feel the urge to start anything with someone and just mute them instead after that sip. play some mellow music if that's your style of music and just play.

No, that's not ban worthy. Just be prepared to answer "Why?" sometimes.

As long as you actually play the game, and don't troll or int, you'll be fine.

TBH whenever I am salty I do the same thing, you can communicate just as well with pings as with the chat and it is guaranteed to not be detected as toxic.

Just unbind the enter key and keep local chat on.

Some examples of ping combinations I use for communication.

assitance pings on dragon + enemy jungler , alive ==> they are doing dragon.

Fall back ping on enemy jungler+ enemy jungler, alive ==> the jungler is over here, careful.

Engage ping + enemy champ alive ==> focus that champion.

They are usually easy to use and very clear.

I did that for the first several games after being chat restricted; better than being salty....heck I think I even did better on average than I did prior.

This is one of the reasons why I'm doing more and more premade games. The voice chat makes in-game chat unnecessary and is honestly better. When I'm not playing pre-made, I just stick to pings

Harassing, bullying, throwing a tantrum, spamming, telling people to kys, calling people the F word, N word or A word, referring to mental/physical disability or illness towards another player, taunting and making all chat exposures of another player's skill.

Sarcasm won't get you banned. Pretending to be nice in the most sarcastic way will not get you banned. Avoiding bad players and not intentionally feeding while being super sarcastic sounding like you're praising and word-fully rewarding your team mates will not get them banned.

Then getting angry at you for it will get them banned.
