Hello, I am trying to avoid typing in game. I will be muting all at the start of the game, if you need something, then ping me. Please do not ping me excessively or I will have to mute that too.

(I want it to sound less aggressive, but not in a way so ppl just spam ping me at the start to troll me.)

It won't. You cannot be banned for toxic chat if you have no chat.

"Hey guys! I'm going to be muting chat because I find it often tilts me. I'll be watching pings though, so don't worry. Just please don't ping unnecessarily."

No need to tell them you'll mute the pings as well, in my opinion.

You can't be banned for not communicating - that was removed a while back.

I strongly recommend not telling people that you're muting them. It only adds fuel to the fire.

I saw someone say, "please use pings to comm, glhf!" in a game once, and that's what I've done since when I mute.
