I love LoL. I didn't realize how much the pointless babbling was impacting my experience in a negative way.

Do you really find chatting with the enemy team to be that distracting? It's almost always my own team that's the issue, not the enemy team.

I'd honestly rather deal with one team full of jerkasses then both. I'm always under the assumption that the enemy team is talking crap on me and our team. It's just going to further put me on tilt if things aren't going well and I happen to look down at, "This Twitch is so garbage lelelel," or something of the sort.

Some of my friends tend to have allchat on and tell what's being said, most of which isn't all that pleasant. So I'm happier just dealing with my teammates than I am with them and the enemy team.

that's why I don't understand why there isn't a complete disable all of chat feature. Chat does nothing that pings couldn't do just as effectively, and chat just gets people muted and reported and irritates people.

I never understood people who said that disabling allchat is one of the best things you can do. The enemy team is generally going to be far more pleasant to talk to than your own team. I could understand if they said mute all was one of the best things you could do. But allchat?
