Anyone ever have this happen?

So every time some assassin guy, you know the type, starts raging at his team for this and that and misplays or whatever, the Riot gods send in this heavenly smite and suddenly the raging assassin starts spamming his ping and it's like 5k. So he spent half the game raging about how we were holding him back and then he spends the next half spamming his ping bar and disconnecting.

I feel like it's a secret Rito ping smite. We also weren't doing terrible and the score was even, just to clarify that the rage wasn't due to a crazy amount of feeding teammates or anything.

This has happened to me more than once, where the number 1 raging teammate who happens to be an assassin suddenly experiences a huge ping spike and then loses the game for us by either being afk completely or being ready to teamfight and then suddenly disconnecting in the middle of 5 people.

I don't know whether to feel good or bad about this.
