Banning ally's champion is unnecessary and should be prohibited

In draft or rank, we can ban ally's champion.

At first, I wanna say that is unnecessary. If the player is a troll, banning can't solve the problem. THE TROLL will pick another TROLL and be worse and jump with joy that he made the team nervous.

If the player is not a troll, we can see the game dodged or the banned player must be upset. That's so bad for your wining rate critically. If we fight each other before game, we already lose needless to say.

You can think your ally pick the champion that not suitable for his position, but even if it is so, banning will just drop your winning rate. That's unchangeable.

If he is not a troll, improper pick means he don't have wide range of champion pool, assigned second or unwanted position, is one champion master, or is practicing specific champion with several positions.

In all cases, banning hurt team play and just drop your winning rate.

For one example, you are ADC or SPT user and you can have your preferred SPT or ADC ally, or you can be more skilled and have more knowledge about champion counters.

For another example, there is a TOP user and he assigned SPT position but he can't do any spt champions.

That looks plausible but banning is still not good. If the player is NOT A TROLL, banning restrict his most card so far as circumstances permit, so his next choice will be worse than the first.

Above all things, I wanna say morale and unity are the most factors to win the game.

In fact, banning is not the antithese about the trolling and is trolling itself.

If my ally is last pick and the enemy has first pick i will ban out a power pick/hard counter regardless. It is in my interest to remove the hardest champions i face in a solo Q. Then there are the times when a new/old champion is released/updated. in the first few days i tend to ban them regardless since people do not have the experience required to contribute to a ranked game.

Normal draft, i consider your proposal valid.

Or you just pick the champ your ally wants and swap. Besides, just because 1 champ is a power pick does not mean that the enemy will pick them, and it would be a coicidence that the enmy will be a main with said broken champ your ally wants to play. Meanwhile if you ban his champ he will just report you, but before that misperform, int out of just anger. let's be real here. Your team has 5 bans, you have 1, and the person who wants yasuo won't ban him. You are telling me that you just have to ban the power pick your ally wants, instead of banning the other 20 power picks. If the enemy bans him, he will dodge or tryhard to make the enemy who banned his champ have a miserable game. I have made enemies ragequit because they abnned my Darius or Yasuo. On the other hand, if an ally is such a degenarate, I will mute him, leave him to die and ignore him. I won't troll my lane, but I will not be at all eager to help such people. Like I said you ahve no excuse to ban your ally's champ, even if it some power pick because

It will make them mad
You can just ban ANOTHER power pick
If the guy is a main you just pick his champ and trade and he will carry you and be grateful.
Sometimes people just ban some champs because they think they are broken and don't like them. I ban Vayne as late game she is just broken, but I would never ban a Vayne if the adc is hovering. Some other people will though and they should not be allowed to do so.

There are legit cases where banning your allies champ is needed.

Example, you are your teams last pick and hover a highly contested champion (example Yasuo). Your teammates know it's a risk to let Yasuo through ban-phase and they can't pick it for you for reasons (don't own it, they want to pick their champion etc), so they decide to cut the risk by banning Yasuo so the enemy team can't pick it.

If the enemy picks my yasuo I will most likely pick zed or talon, or hey Dariusq as Yas suffers against bruisers and kick his ass. I will also be extra focused not to fail, since I have hatred for the enemy. If you ban it. Well you will have 1 less ally abcking you up. So don't fucking ban an ally's champ ever. Trolling by hovering another champ and making it impossible for you to ban . REALLY. I would risk my real champ getting banned just to troll. Guess what, most people won't, and the people who do will troll anyway

Bans are used to remove a champion from the game. When a player bans a champion in lol, it means he does not want to see that champion in his game, regardless of the team it is on. Banning an ally's champion intentionally is an dick move, but is a correct use of the banning function.

You are very dumb to waste a ban on Caitlyn or Ashe, just because they wanna troll and go mid. If they make such a hover, then you know it's a troll. Declared champs can't be banned by allies. Period. If you honestly meet someone who wants to troll, banning his champ won't stop him. The best you can achieve by banning an ally's champ is making them pissed and make them misperform, ruin their mindset and so on. All bad things. But you didn't think about that. He will still troll with another troll pick even if you ban his current hover. I said this in my post but you didn't read it, did you? A few days ago had an idiot who ALMOST ruined my gold promos by banning my hover and picking a random pick. This is an example of how a troll can ban ally's champs.

And it is exactly because of people like you that this feature should be physically impossible. You may want to ban an ally's champ but the game doesn't let you. Hell sometimes I ban an ally's champ by accident( cuz I hate Vayne). Still if an ally wants Vayne and I see it, i will not ban. Now imagine if I simply could not ban said champion if my ally has declared it. That way no one is pissed and there is no way for me to make a mistake.
