Banned for 2 weeks, how does this effect the future of my account?

So i was being a toxic trash talker, so I got a 2 week ban. I'm fine with it i had my warnings and i didn't listen and i cant blame anyone else but myself obviously. I accepted to follow riots rules and failed to do so, so i will take my punishment. I'm just wanting to know if i will be perma muted after this and or still be eligible to use Hextech. Also a little scared i'll be perma banned even though this will definitely teach me a lesson as i have never been banned in any other game. i have spent about $400 on this game and would hate to be perma banned and am willing to do what it takes to become a better player from here on. Thanks guys.

He is suggesting that you remove your chat box from view. He could have said it better, or made it make sense considering your main post, but oh well.

As Mayor Stubbs said you're on your last chance now, but if you turn your behavior around now you will slowly go down in status, until you're equal to anyone else who has yet to be punished.

I believe next action taken will be perma ban.

I think how it works is every 3 months (check on that number), you drop back down one tier. So if you don't get in trouble for 3 months, the next one would be another 2 week ban. OR if you don't get in trouble for 6 months, the following time would be a chat ban (or whatever the previous restriction was)

Time is only one factor considered. You actually have to keep playing and demonstrate proper behavior. Not just less toxic, but actual proper behavior.

As for Hextech, you will not get any free rewards until the system considers you reformed. It's not quite clear what this means but I suspect that your reports against you would have to be in line with the average player, which is actually very low.

Hey, at least this guy recognizes he did wrong and is willing to change, unlike 99% of the others, who whine and bitch that they didn't deserve it.

Thank you for actually recognizing you did wrong and keeping an open mind to changing. As others mentioned, 3 months separate punishment tier "cooldowns". Punishment tiers go from -> 5 game (or maybe it was 10, I forget) chat ban -> 25 game chatban - 14 day ban -> permaban. Please be careful not to trigger the permaban as it will almost certainly not be revoked. Hextech will be disabled when you return from your ban most likely, for you, until it's decided by Riot you had reformed enough. Good luck on getting better ^^

my suggestion. mute everyone at the start of the game. and drag chatbox off screen. let people know that you are muting them in lobby just so they dont get mad at you for not typing. be sure to follow the meta to the tee. so you dont get reported because you played Teemo summoner 11 in normals and played poorly and get accidentally banned for trolling
