A few days ago I reported this guy for what he said to his team member. I think its totally unacceptable. I can't believe someone would treat someone else like this smh.
BUT, I reported it, and got a message that "a recent player i reported has been punished" but this guy still plays.
What is the point... this community is getting sooooo bad. i don't know if rito is helping or making it worse.
It's not because it's acceptable that he isn't banned, it's because chat restrictions are usually the first punishment, and one mistake isn't enough to warrant a ban except in the most extreme cases.
There are more punishments than being banned, like Chat Restrictions.
Should we be concerned that this is ok? Yal r fine with this?
I think in extreme circumstances like this chat bans should have to be lifted through good behavior and not just a timer. People who are rude and offensive by choice will continue to choose to be so inclined despite agreeing to otherwise in the summoner's code unless FORCED to change. The whole three strikes and a wrist slap thing only works if they actually reform in the end.
I got a 2 day chat restriction a couple years ago for raging hard in no uncertain terms in a game's chat (haven't been that nasty since) and that was that. Yet I continue to see people like the ones that the OP mentioned make my tribunal chatlog look sportsmanlike play and spread their bile all over this game. When is the Tribunal going to be back "from maintenance"?
