I need help identifying what caused a 2 week temp ban

So these are the 2 chat logs the client reform card showed: I know they don't punish according to the context but directly for what you said so I won't bother explaining what happened. Keep in mind though that the players I was talking with had racial slurs in the names. Not asking for a re-evaluation on the 2 week ban, I have another account to play on so it doesn't really matter.

Nothing I see that tripped the automatic filter, but there was a lot of toxicity and passive-aggressiveness there.

Also, why did you keep talking with them after you "muted" them? Just mute them and move on.

There were 2 people and I muted 1 of them and the 2nd flamer didn't speak until I muted the 1st one. But eh, it is what it is.

this is a team based game which means communication is central if u want to win and seeing as he was playing ranked....

Doesn't really matter, there's no such thing as "this player did this and that and had this and that" when it comes to punishments. It doesn't justify your actions in any way. Your arguing with them is what caused the ban. Plus the score shaming and rank shaming. When you mute them, stop talking about the subject. When someone is flaming you just mute them and then report, there's no point in arguing with them.

Why are you tagging me and speaking to him? You can just tag him and tell him your opinion about me without tagging me. And why does what I play matter in a topic that is clearly "player behaviour"? Riot doesn't punish people for reporting. If someone reports them for their usernames then that will be dealt with separately.

riot bans anyone for saying anything you can get banned for being "passive aggressive" as if u can identify a tone in text . i just a ban for calling someone who was flaming me an incel

You can only be banned for passive aggressive behavior if you are actually passive aggressive in chat. It’s fairly easy to get tone from chat - and Riot only punishes (with automated systems) the most obvious cases of passive aggression.

Could you give me examples of passive aggressiveness because I'm having trouble identifying them. I wasn't angry at all because I was the 1 feeding. I was just annoyed and ashamed that I can't practice new roles without having the fear of getting flamed and reacted in a different way.

I understand how that would seem toxic but I'm still having trouble understanding why it's not okay? Riven said she was silver but argued with the others so I said "Riven is silver, just ignore".

"its ok dude u can be tilted :)" I understand that one now but why is telling them that I'm recording something I can't do? When I've said it in the past, the flamers usually stop talking because they don't want to be banned so I did that in hopes of getting them to stop.

All threats are considered negative by the IFS. Saying that you'll report someone, or anything similar, is threatening their account.

The report system is to be used to report the people that are breaking the rules, not as a means of threatening someone.

You can't be banned for saying "I'm going to report you". People ask for reports all the time and if you research a little you would come across a Rioter even saying that's not punishable, so yes, you can say that. There's nothing wrong with saying "I'm going to submit a ticket on you". That's completely fine and your logic in my opinion is screwed, so please do some research before basing off your "facts" on your assumptions.

The bottom line is saying “i’m recording this and going to report you” is passive aggressive - that’s not useful and it is toxic - especially when the rest of your log is passive aggressive too. If someone’s being toxic, you’re allowed to mute and report. You don’t get to try and take justice into your own hand.

I don't think “I’m recording this game btw ill be sending it through a ticket” means I'm trying to take justice into my own hands. You could clearly see I specifically said "through a ticket" meaning I will let the Rioter decide. It should be perfectly fine to say that especially since Riot encourages players to send support tickets if something happens. That's not a matter of being passive aggressive, seriously don't understand how that's not allowed. But w/e, I got punished and I'll take it.

I can pretty easily see why you were banned. You were flaming yourself. You spent way too much atention and aggrovation into the chat rather than the game.
