The past 5+ ranked games have been infested with feeders from lower elo. ADMITTING they were boosted because of the new ranked system giving free wins in promos. Doesn't even matter what role I play because 3/5 people on my team will be 1/10 before the 20 minute mark. Can't wait til people can get boosted by 4 other players in the next ranked update instead of just 1. Gonna be a fun time.
I have been playing this game since season 1. I don't play a lot of ranked either, but I can agree with you that the influx of boosted accounts has become a problem. Almost all of my games have numerous gold 5 or plat 5 players that in no way, shape or form are of those respective skill levels. They just lose hard and trash talk.
I can agree that boosting is definitely a big issue. It is a really hard one for Riot to tackle likely due to a variety of things: 1-) Large number of accounts, 2-) People login from different I.Ps, sometimes in pretty widespread locations within hours (Obviously logging in from China 1 hr, and then California the next should raise flags in their systems).
If you report them, I would like to think that the explicit evidence of them admitting to boosting in the chat will help lead to them being banned, and revoking their season rewards.
