"Someone Dodge"

Yea we get it, you didn't get to go mid, but everyone gets autofilled to support from time to time, and you either ask nicely, deal with it and take your role, or dodge yourself. Don't threaten to troll and tell other people to dodge.

Quit acting like a 5 year old where everyone has to serve you. You are part of a team, act like it. Go play a single player game if you think you can just do whatever you please to screw over your team because YOU didn't get what YOU wanted

I have to admit, I'm usually pretty laid back about most things, but when someone drops the "someone dodge" crap, it really gets under my skin. My answer is always the same. "you want a dodge, you do it." And when they threaten to troll, I just prepare to mute them as soon as the match starts, and ready the report button for griefing after the match. For some reason, the people who say this never want to be the one to dodge themselves. My guess, they've already dodged so many times that they are already facing penalties for it, but that isn't my problem and I'm not about to put myself on the queue dodging penalty list just to pacify someone who isn't happy about some roll or other.

My most recent encounter with this was over the weekend in normals, when I was trying to get my second match in with a friend for the Xayah/Rakan icon. My jungler banned him out in champ select despite me having him selected. I was frustrated, since we'd played quite a few matches, and kept getting one or the other of them banned or picked on the other team, but I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt and asked if he hadn't noticed that I had him selected. He proceeded not to say anything, but his duo partner then said he noticed, and banned him on purpose because he didn't trust me (a total stranger) to play him decently (in a normal match, not ranked or anything). I was kinda stunned at that point, and didn't say anything, but the fifth guy on the team, who wasn't with either duo got pissed about it and went off on the guy, and they started arguing and people started yelling for each other to dodge. My duo and I were just like "... this is gonna be a fun match...." I have no idea who actually did the dodging, but thankfully someone dodged. Hell, it might have even been someone from the enemy team. Whoever it was deserves a medal or something. I owe them one!

One of the unspoken bonus's of playing support, is no one on your team get's auto-filled. Less salt.

I've had people ask to dodge in arams because our team comp wasn't what they wanted. I always tell them to do it themself, and then they either get pissy or shut up altogether.

Honestly, just dodge yourself and don't try to force others into a wait timer all because you're too lazy to dodge yourself.

The last time I said "someone should dodge" (about two days ago or so) the enemy team went 12-0 and we ff20 while they were killing our top inhib turret. Just by our team comps it felt like it was going to be pretty one-sided.

Don't always assume it's someone out of position I guess. Sometimes...well. you just know.

I never dodge when someone asks for it personally. 9.9 times out of 10 those clowns won't do it becuase they dodge games a lot and/or are looking down the barrel of a ban. I'd much rather make them suffer through a game they completely lament and add more fuel to their self inflicted misery, personally.

It seems like Riot encourages this behavior.

I don't like having a dodge timer, so when some shit goes down in champ select (teammate bans another teammate's hover, or people saying they are doing X role no matter what) I'm secretly thinking, "dodge, someone please fucking dodge. Please!"

But it never happens. :/

Sometimes a dodge is necessary, and you don't want to do it.

Riot discourages dodges.

If a person wants to dodge before the game even starts, and is forced to play (or suffer consequences, due to the way the system is), you are guaranteed a negative experience.

You end up leaving yourself with an ultimatum. You dodge and take the 5 min penalty plus the -3 lp, or play it out in a game which is almost certainly a loss which is a -15 to - 20 lp loss.

sometimes it's cuz of autofill that "someone dodge" is needed. Or sometimes we face an enemy comp like Malphite Diana Yasuo Kalista Alistar

The only time I've ever personally said that is when I'm in a ranked series where dodging gives you an automatic loss. We've all been there where some jackass is acting up and you just know it's going to be a quick, ugly game, and you desperately want someone to save your series by leaving.
