We have some members of the board who have, for years now, consistently belittled and demeaned other posters on the boards. Specifically, the term "ant" used soley in a derogatory fashion. The pair of offending posters is obvious, but it begs the question: when are you going to stop allowing this type of harassing statement. It's extremely rude and would not be allowed in game, why do you allow the offenders to transgress thusly on the boards? Please feel free to explain.
I definitely agree with you about people getting away with stuff on GD even though they sorta have their own rules. But it seems to me that GD is what it wants to be. I think it makes everyone look bad but if that is what they want who am I to say they shouldn't have it.

In my opinion this very thing should be addressed..but so should all the comments that get past the mods on GD because So Few are willing to stand up and say that isn't right.
I used to post there and before the boards switched over, let me say I am No longer proud to be associated with most of the people there anymore. Even some of the best of you are becoming up-vote trolls...I can think of a large # of good GD posters but mostly it is has been taken over by double and more accounts that pick on any ideal. anyone disputes !
Saying this pains me: especially as one of the most respected poster on GD added me as a friend and dumped me when I one time called them out for something :) The first step to exclude things we don't want on the boards are to say so as OP did...Thanks OP !

You did fine mate. I wanted Curator to see this and actually do something about the posters in question. Its annoying, and I've put up with it for years, but I've had enough of the shenanigans of a pair of widely hated trolls and the whole "ant" business is about as rude as it gets. Its so rude its become its own GD meme because we have to make fun of the pair of douche bags who consistently resort to calling others, everyone, any one at all, "ants". Its time that childishness stops, and its time the mod crew actually did something about it.
I understand, what some might not understand on this board is that GD has their own rules, seldom report and it usually take more then a few people to hit the report button to do anything there.
If more people would just speak up and say what they feel then something could be done about this...I wish that I could help you in this but all I can do is support your comment and OS bump if I can add anything constructive lol... Good Luck :)
Time to do away with this double standard and remove those board members or at the VERY least have that phrase, when used in a derogatory fashion with intent to insult and demean, be cause to receive equal punishment as the words its used as a substitute for.
Yup :) I believe we are still allowed to bump as long as we add content...I'm about asleep now, but Mom is in bad shape so I may be up longer and try to keep this up front. :)
Just an FYI: PB&M moves much slower than threads in GD, so constant bumping isn't quite as necessary.
