Honor leveling up?

So, I was given a small chat ban for a reason I agree with (passive aggression, negativity, calling someone a "fatass Kelly Price", it was well deserved), It's been a couple months since. Ever since then I've played on and off but still a decent enough amount.

I'm a support main with a fairly positive attitude so I get on average 1 to 2 honors per game, nothing major, but you'd think these small honor amounts would still add up and eventually get me out of Dishonor.

I don't think I'm perfect, and I do agree with my well deserved chat ban, but I've been at Dishonorable for a couple months now, but some people say their's only lasted a week or two. Why the inconsistency? Am I just severely unlucky?
