The client crashed in every single one of the games I've tried to play today

In all 4 of the matches I've tried to play, I've waited out 20 min leaver buster penalty times (thank you client crashing), only to get into the post-champ select loading screen and have the client crash, which I guess resets the leaverbuster penalty.

Now, I'm back to the bottom of S4 after having grinded to a career high of 60 lp, which may not seem like a lot to everyone in gold+, but it was a pretty sweet place to be from my perspective.

I'm honestly at the point where I don't even care about the game anymore. Either Riot employees don't care enough to fix the client, or they just aren't smart enough to - quite frankly I'm leaning toward the latter. All this in mind, I have only one question:

What's another PC (preferably free) game I can get into?

Did you try doing anything to diagnose or fix the problem before deciding to blame other people?

You should (care enough and be smart enough to) click the "Initiate Full Repair" button.

To answer the question you asked, there is Starcraft 2 (RTS), Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok (old school adventure/RPG), or Heroes of the Storm/Smite if you want the scratch the MOBA itch.

Also, when Leaverbuster is applied, it lasts for 5 games, and resets (of course) if you AFK/leave in any of those games.

Not entirely sure what this has to do with player behavior but I'll answer none-the-less.

If you're looking for the moba experience, you can always try Riot's competitors (Dota2, HotS, Smite). A game that focuses more on the arena aspect of Mobas is Battlerite and is pretty good.

TF2 (free), Overwatch (not free), and Paladins (free) to scratch that class based shooter itch.

Now that's out of the way, the client issues you are having is not universal otherwise there would be a lot more complaining on the board. Given that you're having the issues so frequently leads me to believe there's a problem with your client specifically. Have you tried to repair the client? Uninstall the game and client, delete any configuration folder, then reinstall?

Spamming the boards is certainly not going to fix the problem.
