So. About the arguement of champion shards from Hextech boxes.

Ok i just spent some time reading some very opinionated (on both sides) commentary about the Hextech boxes and their chance for champion shards.

My question is..... Why are people so opinionated that they will try to bash and discredit each other for that argument?

Some think that champion shards should be removed from the boxes, because they do not feel it is worth spending time getting the box open for a champ shard.

Some think that that the champion shard from the box can be used for mastery upgrades etc, or new champions when they come out.

Some say that it is good to get any of it for free.

I think that everyone has their own opinion, and none of them is right or wrong, or for everyone.

Me personally i like the champion shards from the boxes, even if I am really wanting skins instead. I like playing all the various champions (except yi. yi can be disabled for all i care lol) and working on their mastery scores etc. Im not the absolute best player in the world, but I enjoy playing the game and having blue essences and champion shards is a way of being like "hey, i can work on getting that mastery score up". My goal is to have mastery 7 on all supports personally, and then branch out more.

Notice though, i posted all 3 sides of the argument and stated my opinion without the need of trash talking any side. I know not everyone can accomplish this, often times because they feel so strongly about their opinion, but people should remember that EVERYONE has their own opinion, even if you do not think it is right. You can state your opinion and debate, but there is no need for personal attacks because if you really wanted them to listen to you, then you would be trying to persuade, rather than attack them.

Anyways, game is finished patching and updating. Hope everyone has a fun time playing their game of league..... and if your not, might i suggest music? Tends to help me at least.

I feel like my biggest problem is that it seems that their drop rate is quite high. It is kinda disheartening when you're sitting on 2 skin shards and the next 3 chests you open given you champ shards so you are just sitting on those 2 shards for a month just waiting for another to appear.

I mean if hextech wasn't in the game you would still be playing. So getting a champ shard shouldn't effect anything. When you do get that skin ypu want though its awesome.

Ypu should get used to hearing the word no, because when you finally hear a yes it feels so good.

I heard that on the office lol
