@Riot Why are custom skins "unfair advantage"?
Just got my post deleted because I was sharing custom skin with software that just allows to override files to show the skin in-game. Reasoning:
> Hey Nostormo, Linking to or using this mod is not allowed under our 3rd party software policy. You can review it here: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4491087 We remove all posts with links to download software that give an unfair advantage in-game as stated in our Universal Rules. Further posting will result in suspensions.
Then there's this joke: > Its also important that the game experience you get when you download League of Legends is the complete experience - you shouldnt have to go digging for other apps and addons just to stay competitive.
Yet new client won't have Item Sets and we were told to download external app. Okay.
How is custom skin "unfair advantage"? Or how exactly the software, which is problem, gives "unfair advantage"? If it's really so easy to break into important data, shouldn't you pay more attention to game security rather than deliberately banning all the way? I've seen some bigger YouTubers using custom skins. Is it bannable only when one doesn't have big channel and promote LoL this way?
