So, I've been chat muted multiple times. I'm sure some of you have. What I find super BS is their system of chat mutes. I got muted because everyone in a game reported me when I DID NOT swear at all, and everything I said was just like "THATS NO SKILL BS" or "THIS TEAM SUCKS." I understand I shouldn't have done that, but being toxic is not doing that. You should not get chat muted unless you've sworn in the game. I call BS.
It isn't about swearing at all, most people are ok with swearing in moderation. It's insults, harassments, and just being very negative all the time that people take issue with.
If you'd like to discuss what's in your chat logs, post them and I'd be happy to go over them with you to help shed some light on where you might have gone wrong and how you can approach the situation in a more positive way.

"Toxic" is not limited to swearing at people, but being insulting and/or harassing in general. "THIS TEAM SUCKS." is insulting the team.
That's not how punishments work. It's not tied to swearing which is why there's multiple reportable offense. Ultimately it comes down to the fact that a majority of League players do not want to play with someone that behaves in such a way.
Harassment is a form of toxicity, and you don't need to use swear words to do that.
