Shockingly Overpowered Botlane Comps

Here are some shockingly OP bot lane comps that will leave your rival bot laners reeling and wondering, "what the heck happened?"

1#: Teemo and Cassiopeia

Surprised, are you? Cassiopeia is a mid laner and Teemo (or Satan as I like to refer to him) is generally played in the top lane or even jungle. Why is this combo overpowered? Cassiopeia's E. Her e does additional damage and heals her when it hits a target afflicted with poison, and 3 of Teemo's abilities apply poison to the target. Due to this, they can shred their enemy bot laners and force them to camp under turret or risk complete obliteration.

2#: Ahri and Draven

Well, you may or may not have seen this coming. Ahri actually works very well as a support, I can tell you this first hand. Almost like an AP version of Tahm Kench, she can hold her own, she has her own unique CC, gapclosers, and brings high mobility to the table. Just fetch yourself a Spellblade and you'll be set. Why does she work with Draven so well though? DPS. Draven has some of the highest raw damage and a skilled Draven player, just during the time Ahri's E lasts, can absolutely delete them. And if they don't quite do enough damage to kill a target in a 2v2, Draven can just R and watch the tilting take place in the all chat.

3#: Kennen and Nidalee

Have I lost my marbles? I don't know, have I? Try it. Nidalee, while generally played in the jungle, can actually prove to be quite powerful in lanes as well. With a good Kennen manning the support, if they ult at the right time it can give the sneaky feline ADC enough time to land a q and leap into the fray. They both have good poke, Kennen's passive is extremely helpful in trades, and especially with Nidalee's W gapcloser on Cougar form they can pack quite the punch against the opposing team.

4#: Viktor and Pantheon

Ohh, this one is annoying to play against. I have only seen one of these, and boy it sucked. So, to explain why this is so OP, besides the champions themselves, let's get into this. So, Viktor has stupid poke, CC, and a shield. If you put him in the support role, with all of this, its good enough with most champions. Now, melee adc, I know, can be annoying if you're against, say, some huge range ADC like Caitlyn, but hear me out: He has stun, his Q is point and click poke, and he has crazy tankiness, damage, and whenever the enemy ADC tries to land in an auto-attack or too just make sure your passive shield is up and land your q on them.

5#: Blitzcrank and Vladimir

Oh god, I can already see the anger in all of your eyes as I'm writing down this vile champion's name, Blitzcrank. Don't hate on me, it's just that, as a loving player of Thresh, who's q has a long cooldown and a 1 second windup, it's quite annoying to have a no-windup huge range ability that literally flings an enemy to you. With all of Blitzcrank's tankiness and Vladimir's lifesteal, trading is near impossible and half the time they just get you so low that when you try to initiate you find yourself at half health and you have to go back. Try this out, fun to play as, absolute torture to go against. But be warned, if the enemy ADC is even slightly toxic, you may find yourself being flamed...

6#: Sion and Evelynn

All melee bot lane actually works alright, but on these characters it works spectacularly. The only weakness is neither of them has any poke, but they can easily 2v2 their enemy bot lane. Especially powerful in scenarios where they make usage of bushes, Sion Q, and Evelynn passive. Seriously though, try it, I've done it before and it was so fun. Just chill by the turret, make the enemies think you just both backed, then have Sion sneakily waiting in a bush. His Q isn't visible from bushes so the enemies will seemingly just randomly have half their HP chunked and hard CC'd at random, and then watch Evelynn W towards you at unmatched pace and Sion just ult at you as you try to run. Believe me, very fun AND powerful...

                                                                                                              **Final Entry**

And the final entry is...

YOU DECIDE!!

Now hear me out, this isn't just some cheesy Nick Jr. show where we tell you that you actually get to choose whether we put polka dots or zigzags on the square (P.S. I said polka dots) No, that's not this. Seriously, just use your creativity. If some of these seemed crazy to you, who knows, maybe you could find out some new OP combo? All of these I have either played in or played against so these do work. I'm saying this relatively to how well it works overall though, not if it was simply a matter of the enemies being bad or something.

That's it for now, post your shockingly OP bot lane combos in the comments, and for now, one more question...

Friend and me are constantly running Janna/Yasuo botlane. Janna's shield makes Yas survive harrasment from a ranged ADC and farm easier - plus if they damage Yas with Janna's shield on his passive does not pop, allowing for some ridiculous survivability. And Yas more often than not snags some kills even before level 6 - CC, protection and AD boost from Janna combined with his own base damage and ignite make for some pretty disgusting early trading.

And from level 6 onwards the lane becomes a slaughterfest. One good tornado from Janna and they are dead or flashing away. And God help them if I manage to get a good Monsoon from behind them. They might as well not waste time and just open the shop immediately.

me and my bro do Bioshock bot, or Annie and Nautilus. the Annie can easily farm with her q's resets and the cc between the 2 makes full engages a nightmare for the other lane. we have only ever lost lane once and that was because my bro kept letting vayne harass him for free.

I've always wanted to run Zilean + Syndra/Tahm Kench.

Zilean time bombs a minion and the other throws the minion at enemy laners. Most obnoxious poke ever.

Raka heal like god at the cost of her life, but sona keep her full in a dance of crescendo and silence

Some of my favourites: Kalista + Galio Gives Galio a great engage post six, all kali has to do is ult and Galio gets flung into the enemy team then Galio lets, Pretty much gives him that engage he is missing.

Viktor + Veigar Now, this may seem odd, but hear me out, post level 3, if Veigar is able to trap an opponent in his stun, viktor can lay his own stun right underneath them and they pretty much have nowhere to go without getting stunned for what seems like ages.

Aatrox + Urgot Now, if you ask, how does this work, I'm going to tell you: it dosent, its just fun to have two of the most forgotten champions in a lane tougher.

Xerath or Velkoz + Ziggs or Jayce The whole purpose behind this duo is poke, all of those champions have great poke tools to nudge down the enemy laner, then go all in, especially with jayce.

AurelionSol + Alistar or Annie Because aoe stuns are funfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfunfun!

Blitzcrank Thresh If you thought one hook was annoying, this duo provides not one but two hooks to ruin any enemy champions day!
