I just played a game where 3 people heavily harassed me for their mistakes.
So, i was a mage in mid and we all know how strong zed is. Zed left lane so i dropped an MIA ping unsure if he was going top or bot. After he went top and killed my jg and my top laner they continued to harass me and saying i should have followed , fuck you, useless garbage etc all that good stuff. Even if i had followed though, zed would have killed me since he was ahead at the time.
Okay, game goes on. Zed recalls and starts to head bot without me knowing. I see their jg go bot so i start heading down, my bot lane and jg dies so they blamed me and cussed me out more saying my tp was off cooldown (even though it literally just came off CD). Getting cussed out by 75% of your team and them telling you how garbage you are and how much of a peice of shit you are isnt going to help you win. At this point i threaten to AFK because i didnt think that team deserved to win but i stayed for the janna who was still being very nice to me.
Game goes on, i start ignoring them so they start cussing eachother out. We ended and after that game i receive a notification that a player was punished.
Now, im happy about this player being punished. However, i was very very heavily harassed by not one but 3 players, the amount of stress and anxiety this puts on somebody in a ranked match is very unfair and while its nice that 1 was punished, the other 2 are still likely roaming free and flaming away.
In short, the punishment system works. But only to an extent(as far as i know) I would be happy having to close 3 notifications saying that players were punished but i dont know if they actually were. I have but one request, before sending that nice little notification, let us know how many players were punished. Such as "thanks to your reports, 3 players have been punished."
Anyways, just my personal experience thanks for reading.
