You know how a lot of the time your promo's get ruined by negative players?

I just thought of this like 2 minutes ago so this idea is definitely not in it's best state but what if we had a system that temporarily banned salty, negative and frustrating players from promotional games? There's always that same scenario.. You work very hard to get to your promos, youre finally there and then they get ruined by a toxic player, either them feeding on purpose or just overall bringing the team down with negative attitude, they end up risking your own promotion. I know not every promo series is like that but its definitely still happening. So I thought that maybe with the improved report system, RIOT could also make it so that if the player has been a negative player the past few games or just "trolling" in general, and by trolling i mean feeding on purpose or afking on purpose, then they arent allowed to play their promo's , for a little while, so that they themselves cool down and also don't risk the ranked promotions of other players. Or just temporarily banned from ranked in general, considering most of the time its only one or two players on the same team in their promos.. Anyways I thought I'd just pitch that idea..

so what you're suggesting, is if you're in promos. you would be protected against players who have been reported recently, regardless of if they were punished? i like this idea

Well, salty, negative and frustrating players are already banned, completely, not just from promotional games. Thing is, there must be a first time before they get punished (and more realistically, a few first times, it's hard to detect on a single game), and there is absolutely no way to prevent this first time(s) from happening in Promos.

Stop telling people it's your promo, stop tilting in promos.

In s5 I wasn't trying to climb and I liked to play Singed top. If someone started trippin about promos I'd throw for sure every time. I don't do that now cause I want to climb, but never tell a soul about your promos.

Also promos don't matter. If you have above a 50% winrate and you aren't being toxic you will climb. You don't have to hard carry to climb you just need to keep a good attitude every game.
