I'm not mad you did an Off-Meta Pick, I'm made that you did an Off-Meta Pick IN RANKED

Just please...

...just please...

...is it that hard to do your Jg Karma, APC Jg Jayce, AD Zyra, AD Support Teemo, Hybrid Kassadin, AD Katarina, etc. in blind pick or in Normal Draft?

Why do you have to shove my LP down to the ground when we have a perfectly fine team, but they always have a good enough jungler to gank every lane while we have a Jungle AD Soraka goes 0/20 in the first 15 minutes. Or a Gnar stomp us when we had a real good team comp except for the Ryze going full AD, and going, again, 0/8 in the first 10 minutes.

Like, I know you guys like to try something new, and I'm all for it!

> Just don't do it in ranked

Nuff said.

I don't mind most off meta picks. The best ranked game I ever had in S5 was an ADC Thresh and a JG Lulu. I was sitting there as Nami support, worried we were gonna get curbstomped during my promos, and they carried our asses the whole game. I'm still friends with both of them and we play together often. Give them a chance, some of them will likely be the next weird LCS pick (See: Naut Support/Graves JG/Trundle Support ect.)

If you know your champion inside-outside-upside down, there's little that can stop you completely. I agree I wouldn't play off-meta picks in ranked until I reached that point in normals where I consistently had the knowledge to either snowball, stay or recover, but disenfranchising people who put the time in with their champion to get to that point of mastery is just silly.

I don't care what you play, as long as you play it well and can help us as a team get a win.

Fair and reasonable.... which is why people don't do it.

Trolling people in ranked is something a great deal of people enjoy.... just report them and move on.

Depends on how off meta it is. Some of those you mentioned were seriously extreme cases, and I'll probably get mad at those as well. Especially when they aren't performing up to a certain expectation.

But I'll still go support Urgot when the comp calls for it. kthx.

I'm a new player, new to LoL, not to mobas. If I pick an "off-meta" champion should I be reported and banned? I'm already level 12 after a couple weeks of casual play. Do I have to memorize the meta before I start playing ranked?

If someone is feeding, okay, report for feeding. But It's pretty sad if players get reported and banned for not playing the "meta."

I'm not mad that they do it, I'm mad that they do it knowing that it's unreliable.

idgaf if we have a Hybrid Jungle Fizz, as long as they can still operate as a proper Jungler - objective control, ganking, etc.

As many Challenger players who stream will tell you.

There's nothing wrong with picking off Meta, but why would you want to make the game harder on yourself and your team? Just don't expect to win much and expect to lose many games you would of won with in meta champs.

Picking off Meta something that's not very viable is putting your entire team behind the 8ball - I've heard several top tier streamers say pretty much exactly this in regards to Off Meta Picks.
