So I get banned for defending my self against a toxic player?

So I enjoy playing this game,I usually play top lane tanks like Poppy and the new champion Ornn. I am usually calm and don't even talk unless the team is making a plan or doing something wrong. If another player is toxic to me I will talk to them to explain why either A. they need to not be toxic B. why I am not feeding C. Why I know I am feeding and how I am trying to catch back up. The problem is when I do this they get angrier and angrier. I like having communication In my games so I do not want to have to mute people every game I play because that means there are many toxic players out there and I am being punished for defending my side of an argument. The game that I was a part of that got me banned was a one where I was playing ornn top. Towards the start of the game I had started losing lane to an aggressive Kled eventually killing him with the help of my jg who was shaco. After that I was tower dove and started losing lane do to pressure and no more jg pressure top side. I eventually lost tower after pushing so i could back and getting killed. This cause Shaco to start saying that I was feeding.

That does not show what I was arguing against. Game 3 Feeders that kept arguing with each other. Game 2 Mao that likes to spam pings Game 1 Shaco that said i was feeding even thought he died more than I did.

Retaliation =/= defense.

A real defense would be for you to just mute and report at the end of the game.

Let's see:

Threatening to afk. Telling someone to kill themselves. Using autism as an insult by calling someone autistic. Overall just being a verbally abusive jerk.

Even if someone else is behaving worse that doesn't give you a free pass to start behaving poorly as well. I understand not wanting to mute people but in cases like this they'll likely have nothing important or helpful to say so you're free to mute them right then and there. It's better than what you did: making the situation worse than it already is. Remember, if you can't get your point across without resorting to insults, threats and name-calling then your point wasn't really that important to begin with.

My verdict: Punish.

Title is very misleading. You were not in any way "defending" yourself. You were chucking toxic flame at people and being toxic in 90% of your log.

Punishments are not used in context and each player is punished based on their own behavior. It is your responsibility to control yourself or else your account is punished.

There is only 1 chat log side that we need to know and it is your chat logs. If you said anything toxic and you got reported you deserved it regardless of what people did in game. The bot lane could have ran it down mid and fed but if you did anything toxic you are responsible for what you say and your actions. Next time just report and do not flame. TLDR there are no 2 sides in a report, if what you said regardless of the situation is bad you deserve the ban.
